It was one of the nicest apartments I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The common areas were also nicely updated. I wish we had had more time there. I highly recommend this hotel.

In a central location in Angaston, free parking behind the property and beautiful modernised rooms. Seperate bathrooms are very clean and modern, quiet rooms despite being above the pub. Lovely street with cafes & bakeries before hitting some wine tastings. Would stay here again, highly recommended! :)

AustraliaThe location was perfect, right on the main street but still nice and peaceful.. Everything was within walking distance. There is a nice free carpark right at the entrance. There is a ramp for wheelchairs and the hotel has a lift, so perfect for people with a disability. The hotel has a restaurant and there are also plenty of other restaurants nearby. A supermarket is opposite the carpark, so convenient. There is a kitchenette on the same floor and also a washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The cottage was very comfortable and clean, with outdoor seating on the verandah and a covered bbq area. It is in a quiet location, but is close to Lyndoch with restaurants and a supermarket. The on site caretakers were amazing. The front door lock was faulty when we arrived, and Ken replaced it the next morning….really impressive service. They had lots of good advice and recommendations for the local area too.

The cottage was fantastic - fully self-contained with a beautiful garden setting and a complimentary bottle of wine. It had a well-equipped kitchenette and really comfortable bed. This is a great location to explore the area from with many wineries and points of interest a short drive away. Loved our stay here.

Perfect location for a couple days of wine tasting. Walking distance along nice sidewalk into Tanunda. Clean and comfortable room with plenty of space and nice in-room amenities. Appreciated the helpful staff, especially Lindy. Would definitely stay here again.

Tanunda has some great restaurants and is the perfect location to stay when exploring the Barossa Valley. It feels like a very safe area and the people are exceptionally friendly. If I return to the Barossa, I would definitely choose Tanunda again.

Nuriootpa and its very close neighbour Tanunda are the ideal locations to stay for the wine regions of Barossa and Edin Hills. They are driving distance to the Adelaide Hills and Clare Valley which make fabulous day trips. There are great restaurants and fabulous wineries all through the area. You will need a car to get the most out of this area but be smart and book one of the private day tours of the wineries so everyone can have a try. It is lots of fun.
Don’t miss Laughing Jack winery. It has limited opening days (Friday and Saturday only) but is well worth a bit of organising to make it. Great Red wines at very reasonable prices. Tomfoolery is a fun winery with lots of character. Be sure to ask the origins of the names of the wines as there are some very funny stories. Try 1918 for a fabulous meal.

Great location with easy access to the wineries and other attractions in the region. Enjoyed great railway station playground at :Angaston and coffee all around the region. Lunch at Fino Seppeltsfield was an extra special treat with wonderful food and wine selection.

A very quick drive to commence our self created Barossa wine tour ...with Chateau Yaldara just up the road.
Not so far to Gawler either, where there is a wonderful pub for dinner..."The Golden Fleece". Food was excellent.

The location was great and the Villla was spacious and so clean. It was also in excellent condition like brand new.
The Villas do back on to the main road which is a little noisy at night for those who want complete quiet.
Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay longer. Would stay there again.

The Cheese Factory tasting in main street was outstanding and the local ladies there were so pleasant and helpful.
Excellent quiet location, beautiful town with lots of well maintained historic buildings and homes.
If eating out evenings likely you will need to go to Tanunda for better choice and quality of venue. This was a disappointing aspect given the availability of locally produced food and wine in area.
If self catering, the Supermarket was well stocked.

It was absolutely incredible - the cottage - more like a home that was renovated, so much room, amazing kitchen and the host Alex made sure there was wood fire, special local condiments. Couldn’t recommend this beautiful place highly enough! My favourite sitting outside on the porch watching the sunset with a wine. We will be back

Bethany is a quiet little village just out of Tanunda. The accommodation was a couple of kilometres away from the town, very quiet.
All shopping and eating was in Tanunda, and all very good with service and quality.

This is a beautiful , comfortable, private and fully equipped heritage home, surrounded by nature, We loved our stay and could have easily stayed longer had time permitted. Peter is a generous,helpful and responsive host. You will find peace, quiet and natural elegance at this property.

Marananga is only a tiny piece of the puzzle when exploring the Barossa Valley. It is steeped in history and for the people that live here and work here, they are extremely extending and welcoming to tourists but respect for the people and land is a must.
