- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,090 reviewswe were nervous after we booked because we read so many bad reviews. Had it been refundable, we would’ve cancelled. HOWEVER- I’m so happy we went. This was a 10/10 vacation for us. the location was amazing, the beaches were pristine, so many cool fish/turtle/stingray sightings from the pier. The facilities were clean, and our Villa was so comfortable and cozy! The food was great, and there’s a little ice cream counter on site which makes every vaca better! we did not partake in any activities, but still never got bored. We loved long walks on the beach, grabbing lunch at the beach cafe and watching wildlife from the pier.Guest review byKatyUnited States
- From $227 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 3,065 reviewsIt was a corner room on the top floor (8th floor above ground) with a great view, but I suddenly felt suffocated as soon I realized there is no balcony or openable windows, but I liked it because the air conditioning is by DAIKIN the highly reliable company, and the room was spacious, clean, and modern. The beds were high quality mattresses, and even with one king and two singles comfortably lying next each other, the room was still comfortable. The shower and toilet are very spacious and clean. The shower, toilet, and sink are my favorite of all the hotels I have stayed in.Guest review byUmikaJapan
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 283 reviewsThe beach shack was perfect! It has everything you need for a nice and relaxing getaway. The bed was super comfortable. The location is great, you are close to point lookout (by car, although I think there is public transport as well) and there is access to a beach just crossing the road. I would definitely recommend and stay again!Guest review byDaniMattheiAustralia

Ipswich is steeped in History, being the original choice for the Capital of the new State of Queensland in 1859. The depth of the Bremer River was seen as an impediment for shipping, so Brisbane became the Capital. Queens Park is an Oasis in the centre of the City and includes an animal enclosure with a walk through, fu;; flight Aviary. The City has a proud Rail and Coal Mining past. The Ipswich Rail Museum should be on any visitors itinerary.Guest review byCatherineAustralia - 8.0

A great location , it has everything you need if visiting Caboolture. The Australian zoo was a short scenic drive away. Shopping is easily accessible with plenty of underground parking around. The train is great and so handy, 50 cents to train into Brisbane & back! Trains seem to run often which is great.Guest review byKaaraNew Zealand - 8.0
Beautiful area with lots to explore.
Beautiful area with lots to explore. Love the lighthouse restaurant. Heaps of places to eat and drink. Lots of shopping options too. And Stradbroke Island just a ferry ride away. Or you can catch a train into Brisbane city if you want to.Guest review byTammi-LynnAustralia - 10.0

A beautiful spot. Love the walks and beaches. Everybody on the island is welcoming. We did luck out with food one night as we left it till after 6.30 pm and the one place we went to was fully booked. We had no car either so had to make sandwiches. Would be nicer if there were more takeaway/food truck options.Guest review byMichelleAustralia - 10.0

A really fabulous location to enjoy the best of beach life and water activities.....kayaking, fishing etc. Very relaxed atmosphere and plenty of places to choose from for meals. It is also a good area to 'base' yourself for travel further afield for day trips as well as accessibility to Brisbane. Never tire of coming to the area.Guest review byWendyWAustralia - 8.0

Chatswood shopping centre had lots of places to eat, and Woolworths was a good place to shop. We drove to Wellington Park for a 21st birthday. You could also drive to the theme parks and Brisbane was not to far as well.Guest review byconnieAustralia - 8.0

Be prepared for the fact that the breakfast is in a cafe attached to the Hotel, there is no buffet breakfast. The Cafe is very pleasant, overlooking the water. Have a good map of the North Lakes precinct or be familiar with the maze of very narrow, very busy roads that you will need to negotiate.Guest review byMaxAustralia - 2.0
