Love Redcliffe. We didn’t end up staying in the booked motel. Moved to another ground floor motel away from the busy main road. More info needed on websites about location and room type eg upstairs or downstairs. The Redcliffe Motor Inn not recommended for older visitors.
Redcliffe is a very nice location, particularly along the beachfront, with plenty of amenities and places to wander. We particularly enjoyed the early morning vibe with lots of people walking, running, fitness in the park, and swimming. The Sunday market is also a must attend although the shops provide good offerings on all the other days, particularly the fancy cake shop!
Redcliffe is ideal for singles, couples or families. There are many walks along various beaches, the Redcliffe Jetty, and the main street is full of cafes. Moreton Island is across the bay and definitely worth a day trip. During July - Sept there is a great Whale watching boat which departs from the Redcliffe jetty. There is Pelican feeding at Clontarf information centre. There is Putt Putt for all ages right in Redcliffe. And there are supermarkets and various shops around the peninsula. Moreton Bay Boat Club has a deck with a lovely view of the Glasshouse Mountains and the Boat Harbour - great for relaxing with a meal. There is a large lagoon on the Redcliffe waterfront which is perfect for all ages and also for the budding photographer.
Redcliffe is a nice getaway so close to Brisbane, you can start a relaxing holiday. Plenty of Eateries at the beach near the Jetty. Whale Watching from June to September highly recommended. It is a great day out with magic experiences and great service.
All the advantages of a city without the "Rat Race" hustle and bustle and inner city pretentiousness. Really laid back and casual. Plenty of options for things to do and see. Everything is close whilst spread out at the same time. A hidden gem to be found for those willing to have a look.
Very happy with staying at Redcliffe, was close enough to the city for us for the one day that we had to go into the CBD, but nice to stay out and away from the hustle and bustle. Redcliffe was nice and quite for mid week stay and beautiful foreshore. Will definitely be booking to stay there again when visiting Brisbane.
Great hotel, loved the Pool on the roof and the area where you could relax and watch the sunrise/sunsets. Loved that the rooms had a microwave little mini kitchen, we originally booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 12 nights and had to extend our stay twice as the staff were amazing! Thanks for a great stay!
The 3 bed apartment was huge! Far bigger than we expected, very comfortable and suited our needs beautifully. It was surprisingly quiet and the location (and proximity to amazing coffee @boneyardespresso) and the supermarket is perfect. Oh, and did I mention the Redcliffe Markets? WOW! Parking was plentiful and easy.
They are down to earth people very welcoming and helpful and weren't wearing a mask like every other sheep and I'm one to not wear a mask either. When I am to go to redcliffe again to visit my daughter redcliffe motor inn will my first to go to motel. Thank you guys for the room it was a lovely quiet place
View over the water was lovely. Location was excellent. Within walking distance to everything we needed. Three musts when visiting Redcliffe: 1. Sunday morning markets on the esplanade 2. Banjos Bakery - Yum 3. Morgans Seafood at Scarborough - best fresh wild prawns ever.
ocean view 1 bedroom that we were able to do the sleep in extension to 5 pm. That was fantastic and we would definately comeback again to this accomodation as we really appreciate being able to spend ime with family as we came from regional qld
close proximity to the party we were attending, easy to find, close to main areas of Redcliffe, friendly staff, clean facilities, very welcoming
