Everything! The check in check out process is super easy and convenient. The location is so relaxed and the room is very well thought out for a couple. The bed is one of the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in. Having bikes to hire for free was super helpful especially when the local bike places were closed. Everyone we spoke to at the lane retreat were very helpful and friendly, also made great coffee at the pantry. Would highly recommend and revisit again.

Leogate Estate Villas exceeded all my expectations and was by far the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed at in Hunter Valley! The room was incredibly spacious, with soft, luxurious linens that made for a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom was impressively large, adding to the comfort and elegance of the stay. But the real highlight was the breathtaking view from the balcony, absolutely stunning and the perfect spot to unwind. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be recommending this place to anyone visiting Hunter Valley!

The breakfast was excellent, the Rooms quite large with a great outlook. We liked the Olive Grove rooms personally, they looked out onto greenery, pool and sometimes where the kangaroos gathered. Location was pretty good with many vineyards around. However, driving was very easy. Nice to be able to walk to their restaurant or to 4 Pines across the road. Nice pool.

The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, and all the facilities exceeded our expectations. The coffee machine was a great bonus! It’s an ideal choice for family trips, and its location makes visiting nearby wineries very convenient. Situated right in the heart of Maitland, the hotel is surrounded by shopping, dining, and leisure options. The riverside walkway was perfect for morning and evening dog walks. We stayed with our pet, and the pet fee was very reasonable. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Great access to the vineyards, chocolate shop, Easy drives to Kurri Kurri or Cessnock area - countryside was a joy to see. Enjoyed Binet vineyard and cafe at Tattlers. I would recommend staying in this area for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of city life - but be aware the wi-fi reception is not great and you might need to go into one of the towns to use it.

Muswellbrook tend to be my home town soon.

Muswellbrook tend to be my home town soon. A lot of activities for the kids around the town: parks, playgrounds even there is a ten pin bowling and cinema. It is a bit unexpected to be so community focused for a small rural town. Good restaurants are available: Indian, Thai, Chinese cousins and of course traditional Aussie pubs. The prices are average, so you will be pleased of not spending too much. 2 shopping malls are also available with all 3 main Australia grocery stores, so not an issue to top up your stock before travelling further inland.

Ate at The Cottage which was excellent. Good food & friendly, efficient staff. Coffee at the Assar House - rather weak coffee - not to my taste, but obviously the place to be on a Sunday - maybe the only place open! Main street has an interesting selection of shops - RB Sellars being a favorite. But it was Saturday afternoon, so very few shops open and the whole place was very quiet. Would like to see it on a weekday, but unfortunately not this trip.

Stop the people drinking & smoking in groups outside their room entrances, not backing in utes to sit on back & booze & smoke, should have assigned area for that not close to next units entrance. Have been coming to same motel for 20 years & always been good, but really needs some control, should not have to wade past groups of drinkers to get to your car & door.

I was there for a one night stay(wedding), so didn’t really have much time to explore the town. Had a nice lunch and a couple of coldies at The Denman Hotel, next door to the Grapevine Motel, before heading to the vineyard for the wedding.
