- From $195.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 792 reviewsBreakfast each day was wonderful, and gave us the opportunity to mingle with other guests and talk about travels and experiences. The room was beautifully air conditioned and instructions to leave the a/c on while absent was really useful in the tropical weather. We had a family room, which meant that our daughter could have the bedroom and we had the bed in the living area, which was handy for our night time trips to the toilet. The pool was just lovely, and it was relaxing to sit with our feet in the water after a big day out.Guest review byAnitaAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 184 reviewsA short walk to Cable Beach, the pool was delicious to slip into after a day of touristy activities. Walking distance to high quality restaurants and also the shop on the corner for a quick and cheap meal (they have homemade lasagna packaged up to buy). The townhouse was comfortable and airy, perfect for Broome climate.Guest review byHelenAustralia

Broome was good, the taxi driver from the airport ripped us off. The hop on off bus wasn’t working, terrible for visitors, perhaps the council should treat visitors with a bit more respect and I am sure it would pay off. We switched taxi providers to 13 cabs and they were terrificGuest review byLeaAustralia - 8.0

I really enjoyed all the day tours I was able to do from Kununurra to Lake Argyle, Bungle Bungle, Mitchell Falls and El Questro and there are some lovely art galleries in town. Generally people were friendly however I wouldn't venture out after dark. I was very glad I chose the Kimberley Croc Motel as it is very central, right opposite Coles, so easy walking distance. It's nothing flash but has a lovely little pool and courtyard, a good laundry and kitchen so very economical, and also pet-friendly. It is also secure. If you have a vehicle there is lovely accommodation on the edge of town beside or near the lake.Guest review byPamela - 4.0

Unfortunately Halls Creek is suffering from lack of inspiration! Information Centre not open so no information of the area, it is run down and needs a good lot of help from the WA govt to encourage tourism ... There is a lot to see and the history is amazing. Roads are very poor to the sights people wish to see and explore. Indigenous population friendly and I'm sure with a little encouragement & support many would be able to find employment without the constant "put down" there seems to be!Guest review byJanAustralia - 10.0
Derby is a quiet town with a strong local community.
Derby is a quiet town with a strong local community. The sunsets over the mudflats are worth seeing. The Boab trees around town are unique and make the area feel different from anywhere else. The jetty is a good spot to walk or fish, especially in the evening. There’s not a lot of nightlife, but the pubs are friendly and relaxed. Shops are limited, so it’s best to bring what you need. The local bakery and butcher are solid. Fuel and supplies are available but can be expensive. The weather is hot and humid most of the year. Wet season brings heavy rain and road closures, so plan around that. Dry season is more comfortable and better for travel. Derby is a good base if you're working in the region or heading to places like the Gibb River Road. It’s not a tourist hotspot, but it has its own charm if you take the time to look.Guest review byDexterH71Australia - 10.0
The lake views never get old.
The lake views never get old. The staff are helpful and friendly. I highly recommend doing the boat tour and the guide Lukas was knowledgeable and super fun. The picnic spot down near the discharge into the Ord was peaceful. The pool was great but too cold to enter (im a Territorian 😂). The homestead museum was a highlight with so much nice old memorabilia there. Grassed areas were green and perfect for a walk or to sit and take it all in. I also recommend going to Kununurra and Wyndham as there's so much history to take in. I will definitely be back multiple times. Just kicking myself I didn't visit sooner. Don't make my mistake and check it out.Guest review byCraigAustralia - 10.0
Just get there no matter what .
Just get there no matter what . Everything in the Kimberley is larger than life and this is beyond belief . Well run establishment which works like clockwork. Generator runs for limited periods but is off at night Meals were three course and like dining at a restaurant. Great size tentsGuest review byMargAustralia - 10.0
So wonderfully peaceful and remote.
So wonderfully peaceful and remote. We did an amazing 6 hour tour with Bundy and four of his family. Cannot recommend highly enough! Culture and country tour… our eyes and hearts were opened and in awe of the stories and wisdom and the way this land is cared for by the beautiful Bardi Jawa mob.Guest review byJanetAustralia - 6.0
Not much to Wyndham itself but very interesting area.
Not much to Wyndham itself but very interesting area. You need a 4WD. Recommend the Cambridge Gulf lookout, bird watching, walk to the Grotto and aboriginal cave painting. If you want the things in 4. below then perhaps not.Guest review byMargaretAustralia - 10.0
KLR are spectacular and there is so much to see and do.
KLR are spectacular and there is so much to see and do. However, the roads are unsealed and corrugated so driving can be hard and tiring. Distances are vast and service stations serving petrol are few and far.Guest review byTonyAustralia - 10.0

Favourite place Cable Beach - facilities on beach - seats, umbrellas, life savers. Several bars and restaurants nearby. Town bus gives easy access to everywhere. No high rise buildings - traditional Broome style retained.Guest review byKevinAustralia
