The city is not the most beautiful.
The city is not the most beautiful. Many areas in it feel like industrial. We stayed 3 days in this city, and besides Waterpark and museum, there was nothing that caught our interest. The downtown was grey and empty.Guest review bySashaCanada - 10.0

Hinton is a better place to stay if you are visiting the mountains, Jasper accommodation is very expensive, Hinton is not as gay as Jasper, a good town with good people, Jasper is overly gay, woke and expensive. many choices for food and restaurant, you have all good stores to buy anything you need.Guest review bySyedCanada - 10.0

We used Leduc as a staging area, before flying home from the Edmonton airport, which is also a very nice airport, with lots of amenities. In that respect, Leduc is full of hotels, restaurants, etc., I.e. all the amenities you may want or need, before driving or flying to your next or final destination. Also, if you rented a vehicle for your trip, you can fill the gas tank up at a reasonable price at Costco or some of the gas stations near the airport (just look on GasBuddy) before returning your rental vehicle.Guest review byGeorgeUnited States - 6.0

We weren't here very long - midnight to seven - so can't really recommend much. Nisku is close to airport-- but Leduc is closer. Don't really want to knock Nisku but we've agreed Leduc would be our choice for a place to stay.Guest review byDebbieCanada - 8.0
Typical small Alberta city.
Typical small Alberta city. Lots of traffic although the drivers were fairly courteous with the usual over representation of diesel pickups. We spent quite a bit of time in Broadmoor Park which is a a really well cared for urban park with lots of facilities. Lots of small restaurants but hints of urban spawl occurring into the surrounding industrial areas. Less crowded than nearby Edmonton and little evidence of people living on the street. I'd probably stay here again over staying in Edmonton if I had the choice. I did not notice any transit while visiting so I don't know how available it is. Lots of single family housing and higher end apartment buildings.Guest review byRandyCanada - 2.0
Edson in the words of a longtime resident is an oil town.
Edson in the words of a longtime resident is an oil town. The town mascot is a squirrel, the local joke apparently being that you'd have to be nuts to live there. If you're visiting family or coming for work reasons that's fine, but don't come as a tourist.Guest review byPearCiderUnited Kingdom - 6.0

I liked that it was clean, what I didn't like was that for the price we payed we should have had better service like, more towels and coffee. Also the garbage was not taken out and there could have been more blankets.Guest review byKathyCanada - 10.0

The street food and regular food in the restaurants were good. The Train and Bus services were very good too. Great city but the sanitation has to be improved. I witnessed an unfortunate accident but within 10min, the Police, Ambulance, fire services, Rescue truck all arrived the scene to help the accident victim. The response time was excellent and commendable to the authorities in Edmonton.Guest review bySAMUELNigeria
