It was not just a meal but a culinary delight that set the tone for each day of my stay. The variety and quality of the spread were exceptional, catering to diverse tastes and preferences. . I particularly enjoyed the local specialties, which added a unique and authentic touch to my mornings. The warm and attentive service by the breakfast staff further enhanced the overall dining experience, making each morning a delightful start to my day. View: The view from my room was nothing short of breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of the Staubbach Falls cascading down the cliff was a surreal experience. The panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and lush landscapes added to the charm of the location. The strategic positioning of the hotel allows guests to appreciate the beauty of the Swiss Alps in all their glory. I found myself spending countless moments simply gazing out of my window, soaking in the tranquility and natural beauty that surrounded me. The location was very convenient, and the staff are all very friendly. It is minutes away walking from the First Bahn and other ski shops, which made our trip really convenient. The breakfast even though having limited options, was with good quality food and enough for us. The facilities are modern and cozy, making us feel at home. The view from the room was incredible. We would love to come back again! The hotel was locked during the night with no staff attending, but was accessible from the back door with hotel key.

We loved everything with our stay. The location - it is set out from the main centre, but a short 5-minute bus ride from the main station (which the hotel will give you a pass that includes free bus rides and discount attractions). The room, AMAZING! The decor was stunning, had cabin vibes. We loved laying in bed with the window open listening to the cowbells. The best part, the restaurant - Oh my goodness, the best food. We had dinner, our waitress was incredibly lovely, we also had breakfast which was so yummy and fresh! There isn't a single thing I could fault during this stay.

Location is outstanding. Amazing views of the enchanting lake Brienz and the Giessbach Falls and surroundings. Sleep experience is excellent. The Hotel architecture and interior decoration is of such fine artistic taste and luxury, it is a gem. Quite classical and historic as if one is living the high life in the 19th century. Cuisine too was of a high standard with great variety and quality. Excellent restaurant staff attitude and courtesy.

The view was beautiful, it was conveniently located. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to accommodate a request we made about the bedding. The breakfast was very nice, and we really appreciated the complimentary coffee and cake in the afternoon. I also appreciated the tv guide with specification for which channels came in which languages.

Everything was excellent. The outdoor spa was a unique experience. The staff at the kids' club were very kind, and everyone in the hotel was extremely helpful. We even received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel also provided a shuttle service to the train station. The town was small but charming, and the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of it.

Great location overlooking the lake. Bus into Interlaken is at the front door and also a 2 minute walk. I had a room looking out over the lake which was roomy and had plenty of natural light. The breakfast was excellent hot and cold buffet. Dinner menus excellent at an additional cost. The host Sandra is very friendly and helpful with information.

The Jungfrau Travel Pass is well worth the money as it provides for: trains; buses; funiculars; & cable cars, to all the beautiful venues of that stunning region. Please ensure that you receive your free Guest Card from your Hotel as it allows free travel on all (very frequent) Buses in the Interlaken area. Also free to some Museums etc. We ate where we stayed (Hotel Restaurant Hirschen), as the menu & wine list were excellent, with superb service. It is a very popular eating place in Interlaken and can cater for many. Next door to Hotel Restaurant Hirschen is a sports shop which provides many sporting activities from walking to mountain biking to para-gliding

Very nice location on its own, you are also very close to visit the Ballenberg open air museum, the Lungern area, Meiringen, Rosenlaui, Rothorn, St-Beatus Caves and take a boat ride on Lake Brienz. You are also close to Lauterbrunnen, Interlanken and Thun.

wilderswil is very close to the center of interlaken city...

wilderswil is very close to the center of interlaken city where supermarket, stores, restaurants are located. easy to get there by public transportation by train or bus from train main station (interlaken ost). also the location is close to lauterbrunen for sking and getting view of hills and snow during winter if there is no snow in interlaken or wilderswil

Magical place for scenery of the river and mountains.

Magical place for scenery of the river and mountains. Plenty of places to explore, lots of great places for eating and shopping. Gardens in the city are very pretty. Lots of people paragliding if that’s your thing. Visited Aareschlucht Gorge which was amazing. Definitely worth a trip and only around $12 Swiss franks.

Next to a beautiful lake, a fair few restaurants and cafes around, plenty of walks available. Plus it's pretty easy to get to by bus from Interlaken (which is beautiful as well). Quaint. Rural. Friendly.

t's a spacious apartment and was ideal for me, my wife and my 2 sons. The Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfy and the bunk beds were perfect for my 13 & 9 year olds. The views from the windows are beautiful and there is a balcony as well that's very convenient. They have slip ons of various sizes as well as they request no shoes inside the apartment, a very nice touch. its very close to the bus stop which takes only 10 minutes to Interlaken Ost and run every half an hour. The Hosts were nice and communicative so a big thumbs up to this property

Bönigen is lovely as it’s quiet and peaceful but it’s very easy to get to Interlaken centre to do day trips in the area. There is plenty to do also right in Bonigen there are lots of water activities and trails. It’s beautiful the lake is stunning. We did not have a car this house is fully accessible by public transport and food can be bought in the local shops or the big supermarket in Interlaken Ost the station you will pass through when you make any trips outside Bonigen.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the place felt welcoming and well-maintained. The villa is incredibly spacious, with large, comfortable bedrooms that offered plenty of space to relax. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and hygienic, which was a big plus for me. You could tell the owners put a lot of effort into maintaining the property. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals when we wanted to stay in. Overall, I highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay. Whether you’re visiting for a short getaway or a longer stay, this villa offers everything you need for a memorable experience. Place, villa, cleanliness, location, hospitality. The view from the villa is scenic, mountains with snow. Self-cooking facility is there, outside dining area is really awesome. Big Bedrooms, Clean and hygienic bathrooms.

Interlaken is a lovely town to visit.

Interlaken is a lovely town to visit. It's location close to the mountains does make the view, well, awesome. It suffers a little from being touristy, but mostly that's in its favour. It's perfectly located for trips to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Jungfraujoch, etc. to be aware - Most of the town shops, bars etc seemed to be closer to Interlaken West station that Interlaken Ost. Buses and trains ran regular from all, and always prompt, clean and tidy.

Brienz is easy to approach from interlaken by train or car.

Brienz is easy to approach from interlaken by train or car. Brienz lake view, cruise journey from Brienz to Iseltwald, interlaken was awesome. Brienz Rothorn train ride is amazing and unforgettable and the views of Brienz lake from top of mountains were Marvellous. I would suggest everyone who wants to explore Lautterbrunnen, Grindelwald, harder Kulm please come, stay and visit Brienz.
