It was surrounded by beautiful mountains. It was super clean. Very friendly staff. Loved the crafted wooden cows. Food was delicious. Everything was amazing. My kids loved it. We will definitely stay here again. Small present (wooden cows) was also amazing. Loved everything about the hotel. Highly recommended

Best hotel ever. Great location, amazing lake and mountain view. Parking is available. Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Great balcony in the room to enjoy view. Coffee and tea was available in the room to enjoy balcony in the mornings/evenings. Small but enough breakfast with fresh products.

Beautiful, charming town.

Beautiful, charming town. The waterfront walk with statues and lovely “cookoo clock homes” was beautiful and we took a boat that zig zagged across Lake Brienz. The color of the lake is amazing! It was great that there were two train stations as we were closer to Brienz West. Wished that there was a place to get coffee earlier in the morning to start our day. Overall it was nice to stay away from the crowds and it only added about 20 min train commute to Interlaken OST.

Very nice location on its own, you are also very close to visit the Ballenberg open air museum, the Lungern area, Meiringen, Rosenlaui, Rothorn, St-Beatus Caves and take a boat ride on Lake Brienz. You are also close to Lauterbrunnen, Interlanken and Thun.

Brienz is easy to approach from interlaken by train or car.

Brienz is easy to approach from interlaken by train or car. Brienz lake view, cruise journey from Brienz to Iseltwald, interlaken was awesome. Brienz Rothorn train ride is amazing and unforgettable and the views of Brienz lake from top of mountains were Marvellous. I would suggest everyone who wants to explore Lautterbrunnen, Grindelwald, harder Kulm please come, stay and visit Brienz.

Nothing wrong with Brienz - beautiful lake and beautiful...

Nothing wrong with Brienz - beautiful lake and beautiful scenery all around. The hotel was comfortable but not very well located to allow us to walk through the actual town. The hotel is located at the entrance of the town, close to the camping grounds. Quite remote

We only stayed at Brienz for one night en route between...

We only stayed at Brienz for one night en route between other places that we were visiting. The area has a lot of character with lovely old buildings and is on the shore of one of the many big lakes. It was very quiet during our brief stay, being in the period between the summer and winter seasons for tourists. We had just one evening meal which was a very tasty pizza.

We didn’t spend any time there this time. The location is beautiful by the clear lakeside surrounded by mountains. Swiss railway transport is brilliantly efficient and comfortable. The train takes you all along the lake to Interlaken, a most picturesque journey.

Self sufficient appartment with an amazing view. The property is right on the banks of Lake Briez. The views from the rooms are incredibly beautiful or to put it in the words of the host, "This is Paradise". The train station is a short walk away which gives good connectivity to Interlaken. There is a swimming pool and parking available at a charge. Loved the Omega Constellation clock hanging behind the dining table.

Beautiful view of the lake Brienz with plenty of windows that you can open up was definitely the highlight. Staff were lovely and attentive. Nice breakfast but at your own cost. Nice quieter location where you can drive/catch the train to Interlaken, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen etc.

The view from the hotel is amazing. We have had a room with hotspot, it was very nice. The hotel has everything you want, a pool, a place for the kids to play. We stayed for 2 nights and received some discount for the brienz rothorn bahn amd a cruise on the brienzersee ❤️❤️
