They also arranged a happy hour for all guests after our return from canton fair with free drinks and a few nibbles.The staff spoke perfect English and Lance in particular was incredibly helpful. I have already rebooked for when I return back to guangzhou.

Guanghzou, what a beautiful city!
My favorite spot was the Canton Tower at night 👍 They have a great shopping malls like " Mall of the world " and " Taikoo hui" 😍 It's really hard to deal with chines people's because they don't speak English. Go to a Guanghzou Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall & Guangdong Museum was a grat idea.

We made the stopover in Huizhou as we travel to the other "Hakka" cities in Guangdong. There's nothing very much outstanding in Huizhou for the tourists (like us). Nevertheless, we enjoyed the scenery at the West Lake (not comparable to Hangzhou's West Lake), and had a great Hakka meal at the 西湖宾馆 restaurant.

Food, historic sites, fascinating jade market... There are many things to do in the capital of Guangdong. The metro is superior to taxis as it is cheap and taxi drivers often don't have change and won't take you all the way to your destination- taxis in GZ are a hassle.

This was a lovely surprise as Booking.com had already upgraded me to the high floor king room. Room was large and clean with incredible views of the city and Guangdong.
