Upon arrival, we had thought we lost our bag in the taxi, and we contacted the staff. Galen, a young staff, persistently tried to help us out. He even agreed to help us call a taxi driver to see if the bag was in the taxi. He was very empathetic, and he was very candid about where he thinks the bag was. So, without giving up, we contacted a taxi driver, and we were able to actually retrieve the bag in the trunk, despite what the taxi driver had said initially. Because of Galen, it made the rest of us stay a lot more memorable. He even went out of his way to be personable as well, and this is the kind of experience we look for in a high-end hotel. A personalized help. And because of this experience, we look forward to coming back and staying at this hotel in the future.

Massive modern room, nice hot shower with strong pressure, great location easy to find by Didi/taxi, There’s KFC, Starbucks, a Michelin star chinese restaurant on the ground floorX super friendly staff from lobby receptionist, gym staff, cleaning staff, restaurant staff, literally everyone were just so friendly - even though I don’t speak Chinese they always try to help me even with limited english. Free laundry with 4-5 washing + drying machines with is also amazing for long trip. I stayed 10 days in this hotel.

    The choice of restaurants was good and the food quality was excellent. We went for business primarily. It’s not a city I would choose for tourism. Extremely disappointed with the Canton Tower experience. Most certainly wouldn’t waste your money on this.

    A boutique newly renovated budget hotel, with a family owned atmosphere. Less than 50 Yuan by taxi from the international airport. Clean rooms and well designed. I would visit again under similar circumstances. The restaurant was very simple but both the evening and breakfast cooks were happy to prepare meals to order. Value for money for those on a budget and not wanting to travel all the way to the Guangzhou CBD.

    Guangzhou is a busy city.

    Guangzhou is a busy city. Very crowdy and bustles with activity. The subway is always busy and worse at peak hours. Chinese are generally friendly but their reaction to a black person makes me laugh. Especially the elderly and children
