First of all, I didn’t realize that Cruz Roja means Red Cross! So, not only you're staying and enjoying your trip, but you’re also helping others at the same time. Secondly, the staff there are amazing people—warm and welcoming. Even though I don’t speak Spanish and they don’t speak English, we were still able to connect and understand each other. The location was perfect for catching an early morning flight since it’s close to the airport. Although, the town itself is quite small. Room was super clean and comfortable. They have AC, wi-fi and provide a tasty breakfast. I would love to stay there again someday.

What an amazing experience staying at Alto de aguila! Playing with the monkeys all day, walking through the jungle, eating all sorts of fruits. It's a wonderful place for experiencing the Amazon. I loved my stay there and the owners are so friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely come back!

The family collaboration and attention to detail along with personalized tours/amazing food made our stay here very special. Very convenient hotel next to airport. Very nice people. Our flight was delayed so we were so glad they had given us such a hearty delicious breakfast before we left. The proprietor has a Tuk Tuk so he can take you part way with a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the airport. Also we got a ride the evening before departure to the city center to have dinner. Another convenience was the laundry service with the clothes returned the same day.

The rooms were very comfortable with a strong fan and air-conditioner. Breakfast was very good--fresh and included in the price. The location is excellent to the port and within a short walking distance from all the attractions in town. The owner or manager is very helpful if you need a guide to show you around town or take tours. There are tour agencies around town as well and some people who are experienced in certain activities. It's a great place to start your own walking tour as well. It's very nice to come back to a clean room, shower and cool off.

Loved it here! Very close to both the aeropuerto and the centro and the room was extremely clean and well constructed. The staff were lovely and would highly recommend staying here!

Deusa and her husband were amazing during our staying in the hotel. The place has a great location - not in downtown but easy access and in a very quiet area. The food is also very delicious there. We felt very well welcome and we love the days we spent there.
