This has been the best family ski holiday so far.
This has been the best family ski holiday so far. I was travelling with three kids and we were looking for a ski school and getting onto a children-friendly ski slope which would be nearby. Apartma Pavla was the best choice we made. We stayed there for three nights. It is located 100-150 m from the ski slope, behind a big sporthotel. The ski equipment can be rented from many renters, and the snow was there. We rented the equipment from the sporthotel which provided storage as well. Our host was amazing, starting from picking us up at the bus stop, handing over the keys, showing us around and helping us out in every way. The four-person flat had a small kitchen with all necessary utensils and a dining area, and the Tesco express shop was 10 minutes away by walk at the main bus stop. The village itself has all facilities and is definitely recommended for visiting. We took a ski lesson at the slope from a ski school, and kids were sliding down with confidence after one hour. Our host kindly offered sledges too, but we were all tired to use them after the busy days. Overall, this was an amazing holiday.Guest review byMuslimUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It's a fantastic place for anyone interested in hiking and /or relaxing near beautiful forests and nature, as well as interesting castles and sights that aren't too far away. Don't expect much in the way of infrastructure, there are a couple of restaurants and a shop , it's very popular with young families with children. Touristy but small and picturesque town in the Krkonosse national park. It is one of the few mountain resorts in the area that's easily accessible by road from both the Czech and the Polish sides. The location is ideal for hiking and mountain biking in summer, as well as for a restful and lazy getaway.
