Our apartment was wonderful. Plenty of room and everything you could need in the kitchen. Even earplugs in the bedroom which we did not need. We did not think breakfast was included, however it was and was fabulous. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The private parking at the back was another bonus.

We stayed here for two nights in a room with a a beach view terrace. A beautiful early 20th century property which was carefully renovated. We loved the common areas including a lounge with fireplace for pre-dinner drinks and a library with arm chairs. The restaurant experience was stunning: inventive food with a Mediterranean twist and an expertly curated wine list leave nothing more to wish for. We also tried Cafe Danmark in nearby Esbjerg, which I cannot recommend enough (make a reservation). We will be back.

Everything was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and did everything to make us happy. The hotel has great wellness facilities that you can use until 10pm. Breakfasts are really nice and you can even order some things a-la-carte. We also loved the restaurant there which offers a great selection of delicious dishes.

The house was Very clean very cozy and we enjoyed different activities outdoors like mini golf ⛳️ also thanks for thinking about dogs and building a special fence around the forest where my dog could run and play without a leash. Pleasant walkable city.

Pleasant walkable city. Really good for museums - Den Gamle By, AROS and Moesgaard were all fantastic days out. The botanical gardens and the butterflies are worth a visit. The local public transport app is easy to use once I got the hang of the zones (and works fine in English). We arrived during the festival (not planned) so all very lively and sociable. My one slight gripe is that coming from the UK, it hadn't quite occurred to us that vegetarianism in Denmark would require some advance planning/menu-checking - in several restaurants it wasn't possible to identify a vegetarian option, and in one place we ordered what was advertised as the vegetarian brunch and it came with salmon and shrimp. However, we did find some good options with a bit of looking around.

Great city and very easy to walk around.

Great city and very easy to walk around. It was also very convenient to take the bus to and from the airport. Legoland and LEGO House were fantastic, and eating at Mini Chef was such a fun experience. Aquadome and Monky Tonky Land were clean, and the kids enjoyed them a lot. Overall, we had a wonderful family trip!

Aalborg is a beautiful city, especially the downtown area. You can have a leisurely stroll downtown and not worry about your safety. Make sure you go to Penny Lane Bakery while you're there and taste their delicious pastries. The old buildings are gorgeous and definitely deserve your scrutiny. There is a wonderful antique toy store called The Tin Soldier that is absolutely a delight. I will be returning to Aalborg in the future.

We went for the Skagen artists, inspired by an exhibition of Anna Ancher's work at Dulwich Picture Gallery and loved her house, the Skagen Museum and Drachmann's House and the flexibility of the combined ticket. Loved the light, the low well maintained buildings and the coast and the fact that you can walk or cycle safely everywhere. An extra day would have allowed us to visit the grey lighthouse and do some birdwatching and/or explore the nature reserve, but our train back to Aarhus was booked........Would certainly recommend and May seemed a good time to go.

It’s a small harbour town - not a place you would make a special effort to go to as a tourist, but it has a pleasant hotel with a nice terrace, a couple of decent restaurants and shops for essential groceries. If you are in Hirtshals for the ferry, you might like to stop by for a bite to eat or a drink on a terrace. The nearby beaches are beautiful and really worth a visit - especially if you have dogs!

Vejle is a bustling small city with a pedestrian centre that contains many speciality shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Parking almost always available. Vejle is only a 45 minute drive from Aarhus and Odense and even less to Horsens and Kolding. Trains to Copenhagen are regular and the inter-city trains take 2 hours. There are 2 town beaches, both of which have parking and are very clean and shallow, so safe for toddlers upwards. Overall we really like Vejle very much, so much so that we are looking to move there.

Kolding is a nice little town.

Kolding is a nice little town. It can tell you a lot about the history of Denmark. We could really appreciate our visit to the Kolding` s castle and lunch in the cafe in the basement. The information about the history is short but gives you a good idea what was happening with the castle and what role it could play in the history of Denmark. The area round the castle is very beautiful. It is very pleasant to go through the old part of Kolding. It is a must to visit the cathedral of St.Nicolai in the centre. Very impressive! As for restaurants, Fish restaurant Skagen is very recommended. Nice food and reasonable prices, tasty wine and beer.

Ribe as a whole makes great effort to be a tourist attraction and it shows. Small town with medieval center, which would be ideal for a 1-2 say stay. Quite cozy pedestrian street with shops, cafes, and quiet unexpected nooks and crannies to satisfy an idle tourist' curiosity. Would recommend
