Facilities were fantastic. Breakfast and staff were amazing. We were upgraded on arrival for no extra cost as we booked the music room not knowing that it was overtop the bar next door. Wonderful stay. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The room is big and the mattress is comfortable. The breakfast has enough choices and many of the choices’ quality is high. It is clean and new (recently renovated). The location is convenient enough (10 minutes walk from the bus and train station). The staff is friendly. A better choice to stay to go to Lego places compared to the Lego resort at a very reasonable price.

Beautiful hotel, great rooms, lovely views, the food is excellent and the staff are friendly. It’s an ever expanding project, this was our second visit and the whole exterior project is developing with new glasshouses, vegetable plots and gardens out the back. I didn’t know much about Aarhus before visiting, but wow – what an amazing surprise! The city has such a friendly and cozy vibe. Everything feels calm and easy, yet there’s so much going on. The locals are super nice and always ready to help, which made my stay even better. I loved walking around the Latin Quarter with its cute little streets, colorful houses, and cool cafés. The ARoS Art Museum was incredible — especially the rainbow walkway on top! You get the most beautiful view of the whole city. Getting around Aarhus is super simple — you can walk or bike almost anywhere. It’s clean, safe, and full of good energy. I really felt like I could live there! If you’re planning a trip to Denmark, don’t skip Aarhus. It’s a perfect mix of culture, nature, and that special Scandinavian charm. I can’t wait to go back one day!

We were really happy with our visit to Vejle.

We were really happy with our visit to Vejle. I had read that it was an interesting place to visit but was still very surprised how much was going on during our weekend. I love visiting cities I can walk around and Vejle is easily walkable. Walking from harbour (east side) to the Cultural Museum (west side) was a bit too far for our 5 year old to do in one go without needing a snack but overall a great city to visit with a family.

Kolding is a small city, but blended with different dynamic ambiance, people of different diversities are living there. Convenient transportation, old and beautiful Danish buildings for artistic pleasure, a university (SDU) and a public library for intellectual enjoyment. Walking along the roads in the central part or wandering around the lake are always very soothing. Besides, Koldinghus is a very worthy choice, where radical architectural designs back up the old brick wall, new lifestyle merges well with the tradition. They even have a live performance show mimicking the old royal life.

It's a small and quiet Danish city. It's not very touristy, but it has a cinema, a library, a shopping center, a bunch of restaurants and excellent public transport connection. One of the tings I enjoyed the most was the peaceful atmosphere.

I visited Sonderborg since I have ancestors who went from there to Australia about 150 years ago. I knew very little about the town and the island of Als and wished to learn more. Having spent five days there I am now delighted to know that it is part of my heritage.

A town with historical significance and many pearls within...

A town with historical significance and many pearls within walking distance. For a couple of days, walk the pedestrian area, visit "Latinerhaven" and Skovgaard Museum with the works of "guldaldermaler" P.C. Skovgaards (and family) and continue to Domkirken and see the frescos made by his son. Domkirken has visible history back a 1000 years. Stroll the well preserved middle age cobble stone streets. Go to the Borgvold park at the lakes and enjoy the calmness. Nice restaurants e.g on "Nytorv" from traditional Danish ("Fru Thomsen") to Italian ("Kehlet"), and specialty shops (sour dough products at "Simpel Surdej" and beer tasting at "Viborg Bryghus" - note, only open on certain days)
