The location is very quite and relaxing unlike other side of luxor.The beautiful views of the kings valley and balloon ride is something you never want to miss during your holidays.The owner is the most friendly and helpful person i met in the entire egypt trip and he arranged transportation around luxor and aswan tour.The facility is new ,clean and spacious. The staff is amazing. The restaurant is some of the best food I had in Egypt. The pool and everything was top notch Abdallah and the entire staff was some of the best I’ve experienced in Egypt. They never asked for tips or anything extra and went above and beyond to be of any help possible.

Nour el Balad is an absolute gem tucked away from all the crowds. The guesthouse is a traditionally built home with lovely little details and decorations everywhere, and palm furniture including the beds. The breakfast included is delicious, but make sure to stay for lunch or dinner — the roast duck and molokhiya are absolutely outstanding! Luxor’s restaurant scene isn’t amazing and we ended up eating dinner at Nour al Balad every night of our week-long stay. Abdullah and his team offer warm hospitality and can also help with transfers and taxis as needed. We have stayed there twice now and can’t wait to return!!

    We liked everything. Very nice and roomy apartment and well furnished. Met the host. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful man. (He is also a guide and speaks English and German.) He tries very hard to make sure his guests are well taken care of. Prices were fair. When our stay had ended, our host drove us to the airport. Many local restaurants within easy walking distance. We most definitely would recommend and stay again when we return.

Like half from what you can find on Viator, GetYourGuide, etc, and same quality of course: exceptional guide speaking your language, drivers, boats. Bonus you'll experience the real Egypt, chatting with locals, eating amazing local food made on site by their cook. Honestly can't thank them enough

    Everything was great! Staff was super sweet and accommodated all of our needs. Let us do a late check out and recommended the best way to go about going places. Mr Muhammed was lovely! And Our driver, WAS THE BEST!, drove us around all three days and was constantly suggesting ideas. He was such a wonderful person! Cannot say enough great things about him. My friends and I had a lovely stay and hope to be back!

    Luxor sites are great must see for travelers who loves...

    Luxor sites are great must see for travelers who loves ancient Egyptian sites. Many beautiful experiences. But unless you've got the a full time tour/handler, be prepared for the endless stream of people looking to siphon some of your pocket and time. We're 'do it yourself' kind of travelers and did so without serious issue; It takes street smarts and awareness. People generally are kind and warm and Luxor has a lot to offer. A driver/guide is essential for the West Bank sites though, many things to navigate and difficult without someone versed in the area and processes.

    Just a great city to visit All monuments ,valley of the kings,temples are all close by The people are great as well You do get the hassle But then you get that where ever you go I get to meet all sorts of people and nationalities Achti used to belong to the Sheraton group The standards have not changed in all the years I’ve been coming Look for mr zakaria in the restaurant he is very helpful with anything you need he speaks good English

    I really enjoyed seeing various monuments and then relaxing...

    I really enjoyed seeing various monuments and then relaxing at my hotel. Most of the monuments are very close to where you'd be staying - which is really pleasant. There are several very reasonable tour operators and always lots of availability, during the off season. I recommend going between June - December, as there's more availability and it's not crowded.
