Hotel staff was very friendly and cooperative. Rooms were very clean and quite. The ambience was extremely beautiful. More restaurants were nearby, besides the Nile river. Recommended for travelers with or without family. Looking forward to stay at this hotel again in my next trip to Luxor.

Hotel had a nice charm with the theme of the story of Sheherazade. Large facility but not kept up well. Breakfast was simple and the staff have a hard time communicating in English so it's hard to ask for anything. While the sitting area for breakfast was near the pool and they had A/C units available, you also had to face a lot of flies buzzing around and the occasional lizard-looking animal crawling on the ceiling. Room had good A/C and enough bed space to accommodate a family of 4.

You seem to have a lot of small denomination money, here it's all tips, if you ask a question to people on the street... TIP, if you drop a piece of paper on the ground and someone picks it up... TIP, if it comes in to the bathroom... TIP... a little annoying, they are used to asking for TIP for everything, everything is everything. The challenge is very exciting to see so much history, monuments, the trip in a static balloon is very good. Everything is excellent because of the architecture and the history, the people are respectful, the only thing that is uncomfortable is the issue of tips, if you are going to go to the market, it is best to go with the guide so that the prices are raised so exaggeratedly.

So much of what I know about ancient Egypt, the pharaohs & history is found in this awesome place. Too much to see in 3 days.
We had a private guide which helped loads including adjusting our sightseeing plans to include things we knew nothing about. Valley of nobles & workers are both worth adding in, not just the kings. The hot air balloon ride was well worth the extra as was the evening light & sound show.
Travel was easy in a private car.
We mostly ate at the hotel because the food was so good.

Luxor is an amazing location, feels almost like an Italian city, with the antiquities in the heat of the city, the wide river and river boats.
We met really nice people, but unfortunately met a few scammers too.
Shopping can be a bit of a hassle, with people pulling you in. I gave up and shopped in Cairo instead.

A beautiful city, my second trip following a trip last November to valley of the kings. I wanted to come back just to see the city and it didn’t disappoint. I just wish I had had more time than 2days, 1 night… I will be back to lovely Luxor. A surprise around every corner…

The hot air balloon was really the highlight of our tour in Luxor. No one should miss it along with the visits to the Valley of the Kings, Queens and Hatshetsup Palace. Downtown Luxor was also a must-see specially the old market place and the Luxor Temple and don't forget about the local food.

Luxor's archaeological sites are the most impressive I've ever seen. They are spectacular.
I went in April, in spring, and the temperature reached 38 degrees Celcius. The locals told me that in summer the temperature will be around 50 degrees.
The population appears to be very poor and the city is poorly maintained.
Whenever possible, supplement payments with tips. This is expected by the people providing the services.
The property is located in outer skirt of Luxor town. About 15 mins walk to downtown and 35-50 pound taxi ride to Luxor temple and Karnak temple. The locality is mostly residential which gives you insight of real egypt. Local shops don’t try to overcharge you in this community(mostly). big and clean rooms. Clean toilet and bathroom. Aircon works fine. Nice swimming pool. Staff is just outstanding. ‘Bilal’ is a real gentleman, always try his best to provide all the information about the town. Very reasonable tariff.
Wonderful experience in the New Memnon.
We are 3 women visited Egypt for the first time.
The owner of the hotel welcomed us as if we were at home. He made us feel like we were part of his family.
A grandiose welcome like we had never had before.
He organized all our activities for us and it was amazing. The food is excellent and the staff very kind. The room is clean as well.
I highly recommend and I will definitely come back. Thank you very much for everything, we will remember our stay here.
Abdul and his team are amazing hosts – I was skeptical when I saw the 9.9 rating on Booking.com but the hospitality was top-notch and the best I’ve received in Egypt.
Abdul and his team (i.e. Omar, Alla) made sure that everything was taken care of – meals, transportation, tours etc. The entire experience was authentic (and in a quiet part of Luxor too!)
Highly recommend – allow Abdul and his wonderful team to take care of your holiday needs.
Everything was awesome. Staff are very kind and helpful, they made reservations for the tours with very good prices and make you feel like at home. The hotel is clean and the room is good! The localization is perfect, you can go walking to Luxor and Karnak and is also beside the market. Breakfast is very good too. The best place we've stayed in Egypt!!!
The location was great for visiting Luxor and the pool was amazing! The hotel is very modern and luxurious - not dated like some of the other big brand name hotels in Egypt.
