On the banks of the Nile, this resort offers air conditioned rooms with views of the river, tropical grounds, or outdoor pools. It is located in the center of Luxor and half a mile from Luxor Temple. Where do I start, when you receive a WhatsApp message from Donia welcoming us to the Pyramisa even before we arrived was wonderful. Then when arrived, Donia was at reception to welcome us, every receptionist was so friendly to the family and very helpful. Haggag in the breakfast restaurant welcomed us the mornings we had breakfast with a friendly smile. Mostafa at the pool watched every day over my son's and family while enjoying the pool area. The rooms was neat, clean and smelt fresh everyday. The pool area and garden fantastic. The feluca boat man offered me a cup of real Egyptian tea, while sitting on his boat for free. This is how friendly the people of luxor was. If anyone reading this review don't hesitate to consider Pyramisa Hotel in Luxor. The rooms, the bathroom very clean, actually all facilities was of 5 star standards. Real value for money, A real home from home. May the Pyramisa hotel grow from strength to strength. Insha Allah ameen

Lots of temples / tombs to visit. Travelling a little farther , than the usual is worth while. We visites Abydos and Dendara. Temples were very good. On the west bank , Medinat Habu , was good.
I liked the hotel, its Room, staff, location, helpful travel agent for covering the important places in Luxor. one point i would like to highlight is that as the flight arriving and departure from Luxor to Cairo, is early morning, we did not take the Breakfast, which was part of our Room booking charges.
Vibrant city! Hectic and noisy, as one could expect in Egypt. Lot of contrasts among 5 stars hotels and the normal places where people live. You can find everything in Luxor: places where the time stopped and you feel like in the past, very modern areas, history, fun, mix of Muslim and Christian culture and artifacts. The walk along the Nile is a memorable experience. If you are very attentive you will spot in the temples the mix of old Egyptian but also Roman and Christian signs.
A great location with obviously amazing history. We had a very good guide which makes all of the difference. There is so much to see and do. An easy place to recommend for people's next holiday destination.
A small nice city with a lot of history with so many sightseeing to visit and uncountable stories and experiences to live I recommend everyone to learn about luxor before visiting so they get to enjoy the long history of the city I also recommend to spend
Luxor has many attractions but the downside is the constant harassment. Really annoying and tiring. People are lovely but there is always that feeling that they are only talking to you because they want something. Horse and cart man constantly stops and touts for business. This is fine in terms of trying to make money, but when they follow you for 5 mins, it becomes ridiculous. The tourist police just watch. Strange! There are menus in restaurants for foreigners and ones for locals. Not good at all. Best part was Karnak. Stunning. Valley of the Kings is amazing but again substandard toilets and general facilities. I think if they really organised themselves and had proper cafes and restaurants with fixed prices and decent toilets etc. then they could make so much more money. Sometimes the thought of having to barter over a bottle of water was just exhausting. I would rather go without than go through the turmoil.
Charismatic staff, great food with vegan and vegetarian options for all meals, friendly cats in the garden, beautiful architecture, good music, cozy garden atmosphere for breakfast or a nice dinner, chill vibes. This was our favourite place to stay at during our 2-weeks trip to Egypt. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome from the first to the last moment. The hotel has a beautiful architecture and garden, with spacious and very clean rooms. Definitely recommend staying at Embrace Hotel if you are going to Luxor.
East Bank, Luxor
Everything was good. The place was very nice clean and spacious. It's about 15 minutes outside the city, but the compound is situated right beside a nice market ( AL Rayah Market) and it has everything you would need to fix up a quick meal if need be. Our host was able to set us up on a hot air balloon ride and it was one of the most amazing experiences for our family here in Egypt. THANK YOU SO MUCH! We would encourage anyone to book the Sphinx Apartment for a nice little get away while in Luxor.
West Bank, Luxor
Everything. From the moment we arrived, the staff was ready to help with everything. The rooms were spotless, spacious and comfortable. The views from the rooftop of both the mountains on one side and the Nile on the other were beautiful. The food and drinks are delicious and fairly priced. The pool was open all night and was crystal clean except for the occasional flower blossoms falling from the trees. Honestly, after traveling around Egypt, this is by far the best hotel we have stayed at. Loved it!
I am very satisfied with this hotel. It is clean, quite, with sufficient room, a balcony having Nile river and garden view. The food is good. The staff in rception and restaurant are very friendly and professional. Especially I would like to mention Mahmaud and Mariam at reception area helped me to contact the hotel in Cario to have them pick me up from Cario International airport at later night, because my mobile phone did not work in Egypt and I am not familiar with Whatsup. Great thanks!
East Bank, Luxor
- staff was wonderful and accommodating. We felt very welcome and taken care of - Location is very quiet and beautiful right on the Nile - The Egyptian food served in the main restaurant is very good. Falafel, baba ghanoush, tahini, ancient Egyptian flat bread (Aish Baladi), soft cheese and ful medames were delicious! - It’s easy to take a taxi into the city. Drivers are always waiting and it’s 70 EGP. Alternatively, the hotel has a shuttle that goes at 5pm.
Appreciate for the help of Mr.Hisham, a decent operation manager of the hotel, giving me the extra hours stay in the room for free. That was something really precious and beyond my expectation after a long day trip. Big thanks to Mr.Hanny , who arranged nice trips and cars for me and offered me a free airport car when i left. Book the hotel, you must feel the kindness of Egyptian people by yourself!
East Bank, Luxor
Amazing place in Luxor. Professionally run by people who understand the needs and wants of travellers. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was cool with the best shower in Egypt. Happy Land has its own kitchen that serves meals or you can cook yourself. No wonder every person in Luxor knows Happy Land. TV has Netflix and sports channels so I'm happy.
