First of all, the hotel is way better in real life. The staff is amazing and so helpful. Ask about Nardine, she’s amazing, Catherine and Mr. Hisham, they were so caring. This created a positive environment among all the guests, we socialized, sang and had fun together. The food is really good and its near to the center and Luxor and Karnak temples. Not the forget the view, it is breathtaking.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. The place is very beautiful and well maintained. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive during my whole stay. The food was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious as well. I think the value for money is outstanding. For anyone visiting Luxor for 2–3 days to explore the temples and tombs, I highly recommend this hotel. The location in the West Bank is perfect — very close to all the main sites.

Rich history and Hot Air Balloon was simply amazing .

Rich history and Hot Air Balloon was simply amazing . As a tourist , you must be going around with local guide . People charge more money for their services as tip which is higher even rates can change once you finalize . Better to move with local guide so that you can enjoy the beauty of place .

Luxor is a beautiful and mysterious place in Egypt.

Luxor is a beautiful and mysterious place in Egypt. We stayed in Luxor for 5 days. There is something special about the sun rise in Luxor. We were fortunate to stay in apartments having view of the rising sun and was an exceptional experience for us. We visited the beautiful ancient temples in Karnark and the tombs in the valley of kings and queens. We recommend Luxor to anyone who is interested in ancient megalithic sites and curious about ancient history.

I was supposed to go to the touristic areas but found solace in just relaxing and enjoying the walks around the West Bank. I will probably go back to Luxor and do all that in the near future but I was more than happy in my own bubble and doing my own thing. The attention can be overwhelming as a tourist but I tended not to interact much and walk away if I felt I was going to be pressured into anything. The hospitality is wonderful and the people kind. Luxor is magical ✨️ 😍 💖....

Ancient part of Luxor is amazing.

Ancient part of Luxor is amazing. Definitely worth visiting and should be must when visiting Egypt. East bank is walkable, but West bank sightseeing must be done in organized tours or by a private shuttle/taxi. One thing that bothers a bit are people that are offering everything (fellucca, horse ride, taxi ride photos, souvenirs, excursions). Problem is almost everyone you see in the street will approach you and sometimes you need time to get rid of them. It is not huge problem, but you can't have a relaxed mind all the time. It's a part of culture, but it is much more emphasized than in Hurghada for example.

If you are looking for history, Luxor is the place to be.

If you are looking for history, Luxor is the place to be. Depending on your interests, you can spend a day and a half or more. We arrived in the afternoon, chilled, and then saw the light and sound show at the Karnal temple. The next day, we took a 7-hour private guided tour with lunch, accompanied by an excellent guide. That was sufficient for us. After relaxing in the evening, we left for Cairo. It was time well spent.

We had a great stay at Spring Hotel in Luxor. All the staff were helpful and friendly and our room was nice too. The rooftop terrace was great for watching the sunset/sunrise (you must watch the hot air balloons at sunrise-see photo) and eating breakfast. The breakfast was great - one of the best we had in Egypt. They organised a pickup from the railway station when we arrived and also took us back across the Nile by boat when we departed. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Thebes hotel offered comfortable and clean rooms. The rooftop with the pool is perfect to relax and cool down in the Luxor heat after a day of exploring. The staff were friendly and courteous. The West bank location offers beautiful views in a calmer setting. Do consider that getting around to the East bank can get costly by Egyptian standards and that Uber on the West bank didn't seem to work. Overall we had a great experience!

We had a very good time in Luxor, and this not only because of the cozy room at Luxor Sapphire but also because of the warmhearted and helpful host Ahmed. He cared not only for our needs at the hotel but also supported us a lot with our travel planning, local tips, and cultural guidance. This made our trip very special and thus we will keep Ahmed in our hearts as our Egyptian friend in Luxor 🫶
