The place is beautiful and ambient. 5mins walk to the shali fortress and 10-15 min walk to the town centre. The linens are clean and facilities are good to use. Air conditioning is a plus as many hotels in Siwa does not provide. Staffs are very friendly, typical kind siwa people!

The hotel staff were all amazingly friendly, welcoming and helpful during my entire stay. And I experienced the same level of hospitality and professionalism everywhere, in reception, restaurant and the beach. They have managed to create a great first and last impression. The rooms are very nice, design and cleanliness and good selection of amenities. The food selection in buffet is excellent, and both kitchen staff and restaurant staff delivered the service with great sense of hospitality and genuine kindness.

    The worst place I’ve ever been to in my life.

    The worst place I’ve ever been to in my life. They humiliate you just to book a restaurant or go to the beach, with strange rules: entry is only allowed for couples, and for couples the woman must not be veiled. It’s extremely expensive, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to even consider going there.

    Was the best surprise in our trip to Egypt. Marsa Matruh has two of the best beaches we ever saw in our lives: Cleopatra and Agiba. For sure we will be back. We loved also the Museum of Marsa Matruh. There is a McDonald's just in front of the beach, so you can eat your "big mac" or an ice cream with an amazing view!!! The people of the city are not very used to meet strangers in my opinion, it seems that differently of Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada, Marsa Matruh is more focused for Egyptian tourism instead of foreigners, so not everybody speaks English there. Prices are cheaper than in other cities of Egypt. We had a taxi driver that became our friend even we only could talk using Google Translate. Very warm personality and we booked him to guide us in all the beaches in a day trip. We can't wait to return to those amazingly beautiful and crystal clear beaches!!!

    Amazing , completely different experience from anything else I have ever seen The magic of the pure nature , amazing sights ,power of refreshing salt water lakes mixed with the relaxation power of the hot spring which touch your soul not only body Siwa Oasis especially Tulip Camp is the most powerful Antidepressant anxiolytic medication in the world

    The chalet were clean and the terrace lake view was amazing.

    The chalet were clean and the terrace lake view was amazing. There are 3 beaches, the front of the resort is good but we enjoyed Sidi AbdElrhman beach. The cafeteria food was delicious and cheap. Owner was friendly and very welcoming. You must have a car to go to the 3 beaches.

    Room was not clean they delayed the check in drain was blocked my wife was poisoned in BHAAR restaurant first day breakfast they mistaken the egg for my son as he is allergic not enough towels in the swimming pool we had to wait for half hour concierge service is terrible

    don't go to Matruh in peak season( July & August) too many people are in the streets & on the beaches, choose remote suburban location outside main city if you are a foreigner or Non Muslim women as culture & religion are playing against you if you want to take a dip in the sea wearing a one- piece swimsuit, the city is blessed with splendid nature and is cheap,

    Siwa stands out for its kind and respectful locals, a refreshing change from other parts of Egypt. The overnight journey from Cairo is long, but the stunning salt lakes made it absolutely worth it. Plus, Shali Fortress was a beauty!

    Our stay was exceptional, the staff was very friendly specially Mr. Ahmed Galal was above and beyond our expectations. All staff were making sure that our stay was perfect. The beach life guards Mohamed Tag and Mahamed Mahmoud were very nice and helpful.
