Very nice to be able to use dining area to eat our own dinner, using plates and microwave. Pillow was too firm for me but they have softer ones if you ask. Lovely hosts who gave good hiking and touring suggestions. Everyone very pleasant and helpful. Very good location.

Exceptional staff, comfortable room, great breakfast, location next to a beach, easy access to walking path. The restaurant literally saved us as most other restaurants were closed during low season. Great value for money! We will stay there again if we come back to the region.

Great breakfast brunch. Very close to the beach. Nice open room, well decorated and very comfortable bed.

Mas Pere Pau is located in the natural setting of Bruguers, in Besalú, 5 minutes' drive from the city center. It offers well-equipped apartments, studios and rooms with mountain and garden views. Lovely room for a family of 3 with a doggie who was able to run around the garden area of this beautifully restored Catalan Masia - he absolutely loved it. The staff were fantastic - our room was cleaned and tidied every day, towels were hung up to dry on a rack and a dog bed was provided for our puppy which we didn't even ask for. We were supplied with a large fresh bottle of water every day and, although the restaurant wasn't open during the days we were staying there (it only opens on Friday and Saturday in the Winter), they offer a lovely menu to guests which changes daily and you can order your evening meal by midday that day. The food was also great - traditional Catalan meals - comforting hearty food (although could do with some extra veggies). We really enjoyed our stay - thank you.

Old building restoration is spectacular. Free parking. Good internet, dinner buffet amazing. I was 1 hour too early for breakfast and they opened up 50 minutes ahead of time.
