- From $58.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 973 reviewsGreat location just miles away from the main attraction, Segovia. Staying here was considerably less expensive than staying in Segovia. We were able to visit Sepulveda (recommended!) since it was nearby. The room was comfortable and the location offered a cafe downstairs that offered meal and drink options.Guest review byEricUnited States

Aqueduct and Alcazar are more than worth the visit.
Aqueduct and Alcazar are more than worth the visit. Highly recommend the audio tour at the Alcazar. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of shopping options. And one must have the churros. Very unexpected surprise by the good quality food at VIPs; do not let the fast food-diner decor dissuade you from eating here.Guest review byAaronUnited States - 10.0

La Granja de San Ildefonso is a little and a lovely town where the beautiful Royal Palace and Gardens/Fountains are located. The palace and its gardens bring to mind Versailles in France but a small version of it. It is a walkable town. There are several restaurants to enjoy a typical meal.Guest review byAngelUnited States - 8.0
It was a good location with easy car parking.
It was a good location with easy car parking. Check-in was quick and efficient and the WiFi worked well but breakfast was not included in the price of the room and paying for this was managed by a rather aggressive young lady in the restaurant that was a bit unpleasantGuest review byJenniferUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Pedraza is quite a beautiful place.
Pedraza is quite a beautiful place. You have plenty of other small places around to visit as well. It´s very quiet, but lively, restaurants are all pretty good with reasonable prices. The square is simple, but quite nice, and they also have a castle. Beware big cars, some of the streets are a bit narrow (to be expected for a medieval little town though!)Guest review byLucindaFrance - 10.0
Perched on the top of a mountain, a typical Spanish town.
Perched on the top of a mountain, a typical Spanish town. Many restaurants with very good to excellent Castilian food. A great base to visit the Hoches de Duraton National Park where eagles, vultures and other birds abound over and in a deep gorge. The National Parks Visitor Centre has a brilliant display and very worth visiting. The weekend we visited was Fiesta time which was great noisy fun. Not too far to drive to the city of Segovia which has an amazing aqueduct, a wonderful castle and lovely cathedral.Guest review byWerdnaAustralia - 8.0

Local swimming pool was great - adults 3 euros and kids 2 euros for all day and you could come and go throughout the day. Cheaper if you just go in the afternoon. DIA - local mini-market, well stocked, offering fresh bread and pastries daily (the nicest and cheapest pastries we found in town). Although we like to support local business the Patiseries weren't great - not as good as DIA for quality. Closed all day Sunday. We ate at Las Forales Hotel a couple of times, the food was lovely and on par locally on price. There is a Pizzaria half way down the High Street on the right whose food was fab and they also offer take-outs. La Vina, just off the High Street was another lovely restaurant, more pricy than anywhere else in town, but definitely worth the extra cost. There's not too much to do in San Rafael, we were visiting family who live there, but if you have a car it's definitely worth the drive to Segovia (about 30 mins). Lovely town with an ancient aquaduct and also the building that was the inspiration for the Disney Palace, you'll see why when you get there. You're surrounded by mountains so you can do some lovely walks, not that they are sign posted - you'd need to ask the locals...but go prepared because it's very hot in summer and deeply snow covered in winter!!!Guest review byRachelUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Nice and calm vllage with very nice restaurants and places to walk by. Most of the people are friendly and will welcome you well everywhere. Has a big supermarket and a lot of small shops around the vllage. If you plan to go to La Pinilla for skying forget it, most of the time conditions are not good for that and biggest problem is the a lack of information around that online.Guest review byAndréPortugal - 10.0
We only stayed one night.
We only stayed one night. We were traveling north from Madrid and because of flight delays had to find a place along the way. This hotel is right off of the exit an hour north of the Madrid airport. Nice service , good restaurant. There is a large covered pool but we did not use it. I noticed a playground on site for young children. We arrived late and left early. Breakfast was good.Guest review byRickGrecoUnited States - 10.0
Segovia is one of my favorite cities in Spain, ancient and...
Segovia is one of my favorite cities in Spain, ancient and beautiful, and of course has its unsurpassed Roman aquaduct, worth a visit for this alone. But beyond that, each time we have been the streets have been full of fun loving locals, out enjoying life, and both young and old promenade until late, which to me is quintessential Spanish. It has an unsurpassed local party scene, and many young folks are literally up till dawn. Be sure and try the local favorite, suckling pig, widely available. We had a good experience at José Maria, a famous joint, which caters to tourists and locals alike, and has a really good bar. The meal there was professional, if brisk, the atmosphere boisterous, and the pig delightful. Don't miss the deserts.Guest review byKen from SlidellUnited States - 10.0
Very welcoming people though very little English spoken...
Very welcoming people though very little English spoken except for Millan at the Posada. Ancient town and main square with an excellent atmosphere. Enquires reveal that very few British tourists visit and I have to say they should. As a visitor to numerous towns and cities throughout Spain I can say that Sepulveda is amongst the best. This was a stopover and I did not have time to do the usual tourist things but fully intend to return to do so. A walk around the town and dinner in Plaza Mayor was a delight. Loved it!Guest review byDianneUnited Kingdom
