Lovely interior, perfect state of the bathroom, the best bed to sleep in! In addition to a cute terrace looking at the beach. The hotel staff & owners very super helpful with giving us recommendations where to have a diner in Bakio and even helped with a reservation for lunch next day in an unforgettable location. The room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The hotel is very modern with great facilities. The staff was very accommodating and with bookings at the start and end of trip allowed us to leave bike bags in storage. It's a bit of a walk to town, but really not very far. Bilbao is a great city to explore on foot.

it was so beautiful there, the scenery was something off a postcard,we stayed on the campsite in our motorhome, the site was lovely very peaceful, but not for large campers, we are 7mts.. it was very tight, great for smaller camper's We were there to meet up with our son, who came to scatter his wife's ashes. The town was accessable by walking, I am disabled and was able to take my scooter. Very close to Gernika, a very interesting place, with a buzzing night life, lots of bars and restaurants, don't go to the Chinese!

If you want a centrally located modern hotel with friendly staff and a huge breakfast selection, then this place is a good choice. A special thanks to Caro, a hard-working, lovely member of the waitstaff, and Oscar, who greeted us upon our arrival with his expertise on local beers. They were both always smiling and eager to please. We will definitely recommend this oasis of a hotel.

The room was quaint with huge windows. Every amenity imaginable. What really made the trip was the quality of the staff and an exceptional restaurant. Great location, short trip to Ferry, Very good wifi in room, Max Centre very close for fast food, secure parking for my motorcycle from 11pm to 8am, I still recommend to use locks on your motorcycle like every other hotel. Friendly staff and easy checkin, Bar, breakfast cost 10 euro and well worth it. Room was quiet and large enough for solo or couple.

A great neighbourhood to experience authentic life in another country and culture. Weekends are festive in the area with lots of activity at the local bars and cafes. Not many tourists around though... more elderly population noticeable.

The beaches and harbour were lovely.

The beaches and harbour were lovely. It is well worth taking the gondola across the water to the local cafes and old town area. The promenade is long and makes wonderful walking by the sea. There are all kinds of games and water sports available. Getxo is a Spanish resort. Bars in town offer snacks (pintxo) with beer/wine etc. Restaurants are on the promenade reached by lift. Very little English is spoken except in the restaurants on the promenade.

Bermeo's main attraction is the harbour area where all the bars & restaurants are located and few steps walk up and you can see everything Bermeo has to offer. The part of Bermeo away from the harbour is mainly residential with tall towers, which we can say is the new extended Bermeo

The accommodation was very very good.

The accommodation was very very good. Clean and Iban the host was super helpful the whole time he came to meet us personally and showed the whole apartment which was the best I've seen in a long time. The asked me if I needed help with anything in the town. We had a little problem and he personally offered all the assistance we could ask from out of hospital own goodness. I will be booking this apartment yearly going forward a really good time and made better by a great accommodation and Host

It’s really an awful place.

It’s really an awful place. I don’t see any good reason to stay there besides work commitments and/or the need to find a cheaper option than staying in Bilbao. In the evening there’s no place around that offers food at normal times, they’re either closed or open only for drinking. I ended up at a Domino’s Pizza after a couple of wasted hours looking for a proper restaurant, on a Sunday evening.

Small town within reach easily of the ferry about 11 minutes to ferry from hotel. Friendly helpful people rooms very clean and warm. This part of Spain is very Green lots of trees reminds me of Wales and also buildings are French oriented some like in ski resorts very lovely countryside.

As a solo traveller I felt safe day/night never thought @ anytime I'd got into a bad situation or places. People where so nice.I had a mini break away from Bilbao & when I returned it was like 'going home' when I returned. I'd recommend the Bilboats (2hr river trip €20) sightseeing bus (€15.Its possible to do the 2 in one day. The sushi artist (adjacent to Guggenheim museum) do FANTASTIC Thai style noodles.

B arakaldo is a bourough of Bilbao. IT is a good place to stay to visit the city. I was very impressed by the city, specially its architecture, both ancient/classic and modern. It definitely is worth a visit, say a week.
