Everything was perfect. Staff, facilities, meals, room was lovely. Virtually part of the Village Square yet very secluded and quiet. Even our room was extremely quiet, even given it proximity to the road.

The hotel was nice . Although the location is such that you need to have your own car . The staff were very friendly and adjusting. For meals like dinner, we had to book in the advance in the morning as the kitchen would be busy . Room was really nice and big .... beautiful rooms ....

Our recent stay at Feldon Lodges was a delightful escape to the serene beauty of the Cotswolds. Nestled within stunning grounds, the lodges provided a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature's charm. Everyone we interacted with at the Lodges was friendly and courteous making us feel welcomed. The rooms designed with both style and functionality, provided a perfect blend of coziness and comfort, with attention to every tiny detail. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, and the cozy ambiance made it easy to unwind after a day of exploration. One of the highlights was the fantastic breakfast at the on-site restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed a variety of culinary offerings, from the hot breakfast choices to a buffet of numerous breakfast items. Feldon Lodges offered a perfect retreat in the Cotswolds—beautiful grounds, tranquil surroundings, a golf course view, fantastic breakfast, and rooms designed for ultimate comfort. It's an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful escape in this picturesque part of England.

The building was stunning, and the decor was quaint but tasteful. We traveled with our French Bulldog, and he was treated like a Roman Emperor. Even got a breakfast sausage and his own box of tears and toys. The staff made us feel right at home and we absolutely it! The beds we’re comfortable and the bathroom was a delight! The view of the Abbey from the window was the icing on the cake! Would 100% stay here again in the future!

In general, the city has a lot of good restaurants and shops. However, museum tickets were quite expensive, for example, entry to the Roman Baths costs £34 per person. For a couple, that’s comparable to the price of a meal at a good restaurant. Apart from that, everything else was marvelous.

There is plenty to do in Cirencester and around, a good choice of pubs and shops [lots of boutique style as well as larger well known brands] regular Markets in the main market place, a lovely church, undercover markets, tea shops, library, a museum and the parks, especially nice in the dryer, warmer weather Plenty of places within easy reach if you have your own transport, and the buses run regularly to nearby towns too

Stunning medieval town with masses of history.

Stunning medieval town with masses of history. Busy busy road. Lots of shops selling over priced tat to people with more money than sense. The town is full of snooty people which detracts from the charm of the place. Favourite place to visit was the church and Manfred Schotten Antiques, the latter because the proprietor knows 95% of the people that walk in are lookie loos (including me and the missus) but he is more than happy to chat and secondly it has a fabulous basement.

A wonderful historic town which we have visited many times. It is difficult to name our favourite places as there are so many. We ate at The Old stocks inn and the sheep. Both were really good. Not sure about activities as we are very fit but 74 and 88 years old. So we just did comfortable things like walking around the lovely villages.
