Warm and cozy accommodation, with very friendly staff. Comfortable bed and pillows; the room and bathroom equipped for everything you might need for one night stay. Suitable for longer stays as well. Very good location to make a pit stop if you are exploring the island. Good continental breakfast, with a nice variety of fresh fruits. Very good restaurant close by where we ate great sea food - The Old School. 15 min drive to Coral Beach.

Ideal location for trips around the northern part of Isle of Mull (Tobermory and its distillery and colorful houses, Calgary beach with white sand, etc.). Historical building in small village surrounded by beatiful nature was renovated with sense for detail. I strongly recommend to have a dinner in restaurant where are served excellent meals made from local ingredients. Very nice and helpful staff is creating cosy atmosphere. Room was clean and comfortable. During rainy days you can stay in elegant lounge and read books about Isle of Mull or play parlour games. We spent two nights in this beautiful place and we will defintely come back for longer stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at this truly exceptional hotel, and without a doubt, it’s one of the best places I’ve ever experienced. Unfortunately, my stay lasted only one night—but it was enough to make me want to completely rethink my future travels through Scotland just to spend more time here. From the very beginning, everything was flawless. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a kind and professional receptionist who explained everything clearly. Another staff member kindly assisted us with our luggage, showed us around, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. Our room was absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view that made the whole experience even more special. The decor, comfort, and attention to detail were all outstanding—everything felt thoughtfully designed and incredibly comfortable. Every aspect of the hotel deserves a perfect score: the location, the cleanliness, the atmosphere, and especially the food. The bar served what might honestly be the best beer I’ve ever tasted! Breakfast was another highlight—not only because of the beautiful setting and incredible view, but also thanks to the wide selection of delicious options. I have to mention the haggis—after trying it in several places across Scotland, this was by far the best I’ve ever had. The service throughout our stay was excellent, and everything felt clean, calm, and perfectly organized. As a final touch, after checkout, we received a lovely handwritten card thanking us for our stay, along with cookies as a gift—one of the sweetest and most thoughtful gestures I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. This place truly felt like something out of a dream. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Scotland. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience you don’t want to miss. 100 out of 10!

A truly special stay. The Eco Bells are beautiful, the interiors are so quaint with great attention to detail. I felt so rejuvenated after my stay. Switching off, lighting my little fire and looking up at the stars was so special. Also a special mention to Derry who taught me all about football and which berries not to eat!

Great Property with a great view. Karen has done a great job bringing Hollybank together as a beautiful place to stay. From the brand new kitchen any chef would be at home in( i am one) the dining and living room area adjacent with the lovely fireplace Upstairs bedrooms were clean and tidy and the beds were great the positioning of the bathroom between the rooms is excellent It is along way to come back from australia but if we were in the area it would be our first choice. Finally Karen thanks for the offer of doing some washing for us a great gesture as a host good luck you deserve to reap the rewards. The best place we have stayed in our Irish and UK Adventure Cheers David Jenette & Sharon

A trip here needs time to enjoy the environment around and at the hotel. It is not very near a large town but a village is not far away. But that also makes it special. Make sure to get there during daylight as the roads leading to the hotel are not highways. The food was delicious and well proportioned. We wanted to stay there for longer.

I was attending a Photographic Workshop run by the Sky Academy of Photography - a great workshop. This was held at the Uig Hotel and so we moved there for the course.
