Our travel to Anavyssos has the aim to visit the historical mines of Lavrio. These are on one side the archaeological mines and on other side mines of the last mining period. As photographers and specialists for historical mines we especially document the not well known mines by photos, drawings and stories. Therefore Anavyssos is one of the best places.Guest review byKunzfeldAustria - 2.0
The check in was late. The aircon did not work.
The check in was late. The aircon did not work. View of trashdump was awful(promised garden view room610).Rude roomservice staff. Minimart closed 930 pm,cannot charge too room although you market it as part of the hotel map. Housekeeping awful, late when you call them to make up room,do not refill minibar. Receptionists dont do their job right. No service considering 1000 dollar a night. Started to clean table WHILE we are eating breakfast. I do not recommend paying 1000 dollar a night for this hotel. NOT worth it!!Guest review byCameronUnited States - 8.0
I know Varkiza very well.
I know Varkiza very well. It gets very busy in Summer because of the big stretch of beach. Lots of places to eat along the boulevard and harbor. Good place for a day visit if you are in the city, better than the city beaches.Guest review byRicardoFrance - 10.0
Its a wonderfully clean beach.
Its a wonderfully clean beach. The beach is free entry beach, with clean sand and water. The restaurant next to Varkiza beach serves fantastic foods at amazing price, must try for all. The market is on the other side of the beach (walk 800 mts) , but it is happening till late into the night, There are plenty of restaurants nearby, well connected to local bus system. Airport bus is about 2 km away, but there is no vending machine near this bus stop. we suggest buy tickets in advance from vending machine near Esplanade, if you are traveling at odd hours.Guest review byMittal ShaliniIndia - 10.0
Beautiful coastline. Facing west / breathtaking sunsets.
Beautiful coastline. Facing west / breathtaking sunsets. Proximity to airport, Athens, Vouliagmeni and Glyfada, all within a very reasonable drive. Many decent dining options. Water sports and scuba diving lessons on offer.Guest review byCHARILAOSGreece - 10.0
We had the most wonderful stay at this apartment!
We had the most wonderful stay at this apartment! From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, welcoming, and spotless. The space was beautifully furnished, with plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, which made it easy to enjoy breakfast and dinner together as a family. The living area was a perfect gathering spot, and the apartment had excellent natural light and a peaceful atmosphere. I would 100% recommend this apartment to anyone traveling with family. It was clean, comfortable, and truly felt like a home. We’ll definitely be coming back!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Palaia Fokaia is a cute small town with direct and easy access from Athens and the airport. Cordially recommended for its beauty, offers any facility and shops, promising an easy and quiet life. Amazing beaches and beautiful prosperous fields facing mountain scenery, in an almost artistic combination. Delicious fish taverns and traditional Greek restaurants everywhere. Polite and friendly people around. We are Palaia Fokaia fanacits !!!Guest review byDR OMIROS KAVAKLISGreece - 10.0

The villa is just on the coastal road on the Southern Athens Riviera, very easy to find. The place is a very nice suburb of Athens, close to international airport, and city center. Lot of choices for lunch and dinner with Greek restaurants by sea (in a distance of less than 2kms), beaches with sunbeds, scuba diving schools, and lot more.Guest review byGEORGIOSGreece - 10.0

One should visit Cape Sounio if they are into mainland.
One should visit Cape Sounio if they are into mainland. It’s a completely different experience along the Athens riviera. Full of coastal driving reminds someone about driving on US-1 along the west coast of USA. There are stopovers for people to relish the beauty of the deep blue and in some cases greenish water and several beaches to stop-by if you are interested. Far from the madness and crowd of Athens, this strip of Athens Riviera brings back the urge of returning to Greece again and againGuest review byShivajiUnited States
