The location is perfect - everything's close enough and at the same time the hotel is in a very tranquil and quiet zone. We could hear just the bells of the herds and the song of the crickets and cicadas. Marina is the ideal host, cordial and responsive. The facility was very clean and has anything a visitor can need and even more, so we enjoyed to the max. The island has a lot to offer and deserves more visits, so we already plan the next stay at Victory apartments.

The property is full of flowers and fruit trees. You can pick fruit from the trees if you want to eat some (we asked first). The property is nestled in a valley with a mountain backdrop, and depending on the weather, the mountaintops may be above the clouds. It is very peaceful and well looked after. The owners are very pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. The location was good because it was an average 15 minute or less drive to restaurants or other activities.

The hotel is at excellent location. Beautiful sunsets to enjoy from your room patio! We were off season and they were remodeling the swimming pool, but the weather although good was not for swimming anyway :-). So, next year there will be brand new pool to enjoy. Special thanks to Sofia. She went far and beyond to make our stay as good as it was. She provided priceless advices for the island must see places as well as the hidden gems. Thank you Sofia!

The place is very nice and clean. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. Everything is well thought and almost no details were missed. Since the building is next to another they actually made the extra effort to paint the wall so when you walk out on the balcony you are not seeing just an ugly/boring wall in front of you.

    That was our first holiday with our 7-month old baby boy so we were a bit stressed but thanks to Themis and facilities/staff of Athina Apartments, it was an excellent experience. The room was clean, well equipped (kettle, refrigerator, kitchen supplies, stove and many others), cosy. The garden and its playpen were great! We felt like at home, Themis was very helpful and supportive when it comes to adaptation of our baby boy, due to his sleep schedule, we needed to check-in 3 hours before the scheduled time of the property and check-out 4 hours later and there was no problem…

    The location is exceptional as it is situated very close to the places most people want to visit. 9 minute drive to Chora, 5 to Kamariotissa and 10 to Therma. Of course a car is necessary. Very good restaurant with decent prices. €15 per person, for meat dishes with salad, and €25 per person for fresh fish. The staff is very friendly and the facilities provided are more than enough. The administration let me keep the room at check out , a few more hours with no charge as they had no reservations.

    Everything! This is a great place. Super nice room with a balconey. Room decorated with a personal touch which gives a warm home feeling. We stayed just 1 night and would come back for sure if we travel to Samotraki. Location is 3 min from bus station at the entrance to Chora which was great for us. Also close to bakery shops etc.. .     The room is comfortable, looks exactly like in the pictures, with a nice design and is clean. I liked the bathroom the most (the size, the shower cabin, permanent hot water). The owner is friendly and always willing to help you if needed. There is a small beach just across the road from the property. It would have been perfect if there were some sunbeds :)

    It's such a nice place if you look for a quiet stay. A little way away from the main road but close enough to Terma town and the beach (walkable distance). The owner is super duper nice and is almost always around. The matresses on the bed were a little to hard for me but over all clean and confortable.

    Amazing location, very close to the centre of Therma, but very quiet and peaceful. The room was super clean and the towels and sheets smelled great! The owners Mr Soritis and Mrs Kalliopi were very friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of tips to enjoy our stay in the island! Highly recommended!

    Very nice location at the top of Chora with beautiful view. Savvas was very considerate and made sure we won't lack anything. We really felt at home! The house was clean and cosy with pretty much everything someone would need for a nice vacation. Nothing was lacking and we truly enjoyed our stay.

    A unique island in the Aegean Sea with vegetation and waterfalls. Ideal for wandering in nature. It has good food, and many points of interest if someone wants to get in touch with nature in the sea and mountains or visit archaeological sites. For swimming you have to look for a good beach and for staying you have to find good accommodation away from crowdy places. See Pezoulia Cottages, they are peaceful and perfect for family vacations with unique view to the sea and the mountain.

    Really nice location, where the ferry lands. It is somewhat isolated from the rest and you do need a car, otherwise it has two pharmacies, markets and decent restaurants, although we ate best outside of Kamariotissa.

    Therma is a wonderful place to all who want to meet...

    Therma is a wonderful place to all who want to meet unspoiled nature. Sea shore and hot sulfur springs are there but really great are waterfalls on the torrents coming down from the Fengari mountain and making deep basins (vatras) at their foot. These mountain rivers are sheltered with old sycamore trees and strawberry shrub. Water is clear and not too cold, attract many beautiful insects. A hike to the top of Fengari (1600 m) is possible but it requires a certain physical level. Time that we spent in Therma was magnificient!

    The main reason for going to Palaipoli is to visit the Sanctuary of the Greater Gods. The monument site is amazing and with the associated modern museum is certainly well worth an extended visit. Other than that there is not really anything else to do in Palaipoli itself. However if you have a car or motor scooter than there is nothing to stop you from exploring the rest of the island.

    Great place to rest, far away from the crowds, actually it is located in the hart of nature, at the foot of the mountain, between the olive trees. Cats and goats (?) are almost your only neighbours. If you want to relax with the sound of nature only and also benefit from the comfort of the apartment, this is the place. Thea sea is just 1,5-2 km away. For those coming to Samothraki for visiting its landscapes and culture.

    Definitely recommend wearing comfortable, hiking shoes when visiting the waterfalls. The food is great everywhere on the island and the prices do not vary from place to place. Be careful not to park underneath trees as goats might climb on your car :D

    Not the most beautiful place if you compare it to other Greek islands.It is a fishing port which has grown slightly to include a number of coffee shops and tavernas.You can find supermarkets, chemist, ATM, bakery ,rooms to rent, scooters and car hire.

    Words cannot describe places like Samothraki. It's another world and i wish i could spend at least one mont every year there. It's not for everyone though...it has its remote places, unique people and food...but the nature is overwhelming in the most positive way possible.
