We had an incredible stay of 2 weeks at this hotel, honestly it was beyond any expectations. First of all we were lucky to get a room with amazing Mount Olympus view that made every morning just precious and magical. Rooms were clean and tidy as well as bed linen and towels. Hotel is not super big, however it had an outdoor pool with plenty of sun beds around, so you can enjoy yourself during the day or in the evening with a good cocktail or cup of coffee served on the bar next to the pool. Hotel is not located on the first sea line, but for us it wasn’t a problem since we appreciated a little walk (3 to 5 minutes, depending on the location you choose on the beach) after a good and at the same time affordable meal at the hotel restaurant. For those who are coming by car or plan to rent, there are plenty of parking spots in the close proximity to the hotel. BUT! The real treasure of this hotel is stuff. Everyone is extra nice and friendly, would it be owner, receptionist, manager or cleaning lady. They made us feel like we were visiting family or good old friends, making our stay unforgettable. We will remember them with warm feelings in our hearts. To sum up, we would come back if have an opportunity!!

We spent a wonderful time at this location. Nice and cozy hotel, facing the see and the port, 100 m to the beach. Very good and central location The hosts were very kind and helpful. Client oriented, open to facilitate a good accommodation for the clients. I appreciated the cleanness, which was at its best. And the bed was very comfortable. Parking place, playground for children, very close to the shops, close to several reliable taverns I recommend everyone to feel free to contact the host for any details and recommendations, just before reservation

The location was perfect. One minute walk to a beautiful beach- it was fun to swim back to the shore and see the olympus mountain with snow on the peak. The room was spacious with a gorgeous mountain view. The staff was extremely helpful and the service was extraordinary. The Chef prepared a special vegetarian dinner just for us and even prepared us sandwiches for our journey home without us asking him to do so. The hotel manager and desk clerks were very helpful in helping plan our trip and a surprise birthday event.

The hotel, common areas and the room were very clean and the personnel very polite and cheerful. The view from the room on the 4th floor with sea view is fabulous. The equipment of the room is fine and of good quality. The location of the hotel is exceptional and the beach in front of it has great water, very clear, sandy beach area, very good service from the beach bar Ammos that belongs to the hotel. The breakfast is amazing with lots of variety. There could be a little bit more fruit.

Totally different experience than any other hotel in Greece we’ve been. It seems its a family business and guests are treated with care ). Facilities were perfect. I must note that we were at a Luxury appartment as named on Booking. I liked that the music in the restaurant, the elevator and the lobby was always perfectly volumed almost unnoticeable and yet pleasant playing classics mostly. Private beach was not crowded.

Great breakfast for only 6€.

Great breakfast for only 6€. Beautiful scenery and architecture. A true taste of Greece - only Greek tourists around. Felt very authentic. Wish we could have stayed longer as our visit was so relaxing. We visited the old castle, a local beach and Mount Olympus. Plenty of hiking routes to explore. The locals were all so friendly and welcoming.

Platamonas is a great town to visit.

Platamonas is a great town to visit. Everything is centralized along the waterfront with great restaurants, shops, pharmacies and everything else within easy reach. The streets are kept very clean and the evenings provide a nice family atmosphere to walk, dine and get a gelato. The beaches are nice, with lidos to pay for an umbrella and lounges, or a free beach very close by. English is spoken at almost every shop, hotel and restaurant and I found nothing but curtesy in every transaction.

As a base it’s ok to explore the surrounding beaches, that said I wasn’t impressed with the beaches either but then I had just come from Halkidiki, Sithonia and the beaches there are beautiful so perhaps I’m being a bit unfair. Skotinis beach and in the opposite direction le moon beach bar on Mylos beach were my favourites. Platamonas is nice to have dinner & a walk one night. As is Nei Pori. Leptokarya itself is bigger than you think but just feels run down somehow. Not a place I’d go back to.

A small village primarily consisting of vacation homes. The beach is beautiful and not too crowded. There are a few tavernas, shops, and cafés in the village center. It's an ideal spot for a quiet, relaxing vacation, with plenty of fresh air and a stunning view of Mount Olympus.

We used Dion rather than the village of Litichuro as our base for climbing Mount Olympus - our guesthouse the Malathro Olympus was fabulous and the host, Giannus was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful - the local restaurant owners were friendly and fun too and it only takes 35 minutes to drive to Prionia, the base for the E4 Olympus trail

good spot away from rush sities

good spot away from rush sities we were off season (end of April) so we couldn't get into the water (outside) but alot of restaurants and nice beaches around in 10 minuts drive very nice tour for Litochoro small toun and easy walking tour for Olimpus graen vally with small waterfall - park the car at the end west of the toun - very nice and good for families

Litochoro is a fantastic place that combines the mountains and the seaside in the best way. It is located at 300 meters above sea level with fresh air and only 15 minutes from the sea. It offers great opportunities for mountain tourism, lovely restaurants, and important religious sites. The peaceful setting, combined with natural beauty and culture, makes it an ideal destination for both relaxation and exploration.

It is a most attractive village catering for tourists with bars, tavernas and shops. Stunning location, excellent walking opportunities, not far from the coast. We stayed at the Pliades guesthouse just outside the village, which suited us as it was quiet.

A super unique place across Greece, combining high altitude vegetation with long pebble beaches overlooking the Aegean Sea. Under the feet of Olympus & super close to the Heritage Village of Palaios Panteleimon. Platamonas is a great place to combine relaxing beach holidays coupled with sight seeing exploration and mountain strolls under Olympus mountain. Night life is also vibrant along the various beach clubs.
