Charming boutique hotel in the small town of Litochoro, at the foothills of Mount Olympus. A wonderful winter atmosphere. The room finishes are top quality and very distinctive, with great attention to detail. Extremely kind staff, and a private parking area just a few meters from the property - a real plus in Litochoro. We didn’t get the chance to try them, but the extra services offered also looked excellent for exploring the area.

Oh my goodness - everything! This is such a picturesque guesthouse. The owner Christos is the loveliest person you could meet. He was so kind and gave us many great suggestions about what to do here. The room is big and very clean and the view is awesome!! The food Christos cooks is delicious. We would come back here in a heartbeat!! An absolutely delightful stay ❤️

I rated this hotel very highly because it truly is exceptional in its category. The view from the sea-facing rooms is like being on a ship. The breakfasts are very varied, especially for Mediterranean countries. The service, led by the owner, is excellent. The hotel restaurant is also exceptional, even beyond the simple act of eating breakfast or dinner right by the sea. It has its own private beach. There are many attractions nearby, from Mount Olympus to the charming old village of Panteleimonas, with its excellent restaurant, all hand-carved by the owner. We weren't the only ones who enjoyed this carved restaurant; we even met a former Prime Minister of Greece there. For me, the hotel has no weaknesses for the price you pay.

We spent a wonderful holiday at San Panteleimon Hotel and would love to share our experience. The hotel exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness, beautiful surroundings, and especially the professional and friendly staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, kind, and always ready to assist. We travelled with our almost two-year-old daughter, and from day one we felt truly welcomed. The staff constantly asked if they could help in any way, and they were always happy to prepare special meals for our daughter—whether it was a banana for breakfast, fresh orange juice, or pasta with sauce after a late return from a trip. They even started bringing her a banana every morning without us having to ask. This level of care was truly exceptional. Our daughter is quite active and doesn’t like to sit still during meals, but not once did we feel like it bothered anyone. On the contrary, everyone smiled at her, greeted her, and it was obvious they were happy to see her. As parents, we deeply appreciated this welcoming and understanding approach. Another big advantage was the warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Later we found out that the hotel is actually family-run—and you can feel that in the best way. There’s a play area for children, and a lifeguard is always present at the pool, which gave us peace of mind when swimming with a toddler. The beach is just a few steps away and it’s truly beautiful. We also appreciated the hotel’s flexibility—they had no problem with early check-in. When we went on trips, we received large and delicious packed lunches, and we were even given generous lunch packages for our journey home. The hotel owner would sometimes surprise us with fresh fruit, especially for our daughter, which was another thoughtful touch. We must also highlight the hotel’s cuisine.

We had an incredible stay of 2 weeks at this hotel, honestly it was beyond any expectations. First of all we were lucky to get a room with amazing Mount Olympus view that made every morning just precious and magical. Rooms were clean and tidy as well as bed linen and towels. Hotel is not super big, however it had an outdoor pool with plenty of sun beds around, so you can enjoy yourself during the day or in the evening with a good cocktail or cup of coffee served on the bar next to the pool. Hotel is not located on the first sea line, but for us it wasn’t a problem since we appreciated a little walk (3 to 5 minutes, depending on the location you choose on the beach) after a good and at the same time affordable meal at the hotel restaurant. For those who are coming by car or plan to rent, there are plenty of parking spots in the close proximity to the hotel. BUT! The real treasure of this hotel is stuff. Everyone is extra nice and friendly, would it be owner, receptionist, manager or cleaning lady. They made us feel like we were visiting family or good old friends, making our stay unforgettable. We will remember them with warm feelings in our hearts. To sum up, we would come back if have an opportunity!!

The location of the hotel is perfect! In a very quiet marina. From the very roomy balcony we had a view of the beautiful Aegean Sea. The hotel has a parking, which was pretty empty when we were at the hotel, but the hotel clerk told us that in high season it's more difficult to find a parking spot. The rooms were great, clean and comfortable, with excellent amenities. All the public areas were also pristine, and the hotel has a very roomy lift to the floors. We would like to also highlight the responsiveness of the front desk clerk, who was very welcoming checking us in, and kind to our request of ceramic cups for coffee. The rooms are equipped with the Nespresso coffee machines, but there is only disposable paper cups provided. Nevertheless, the gentleman kindly and promptly brought us the cups up to the room. Sad that we didn't get a chance to ask for his name. We had a dinner at the hotel's restaurant and a breakfast the next morning. Both meals were superb, the atmosphere of the restaurant very warm and casual, and the employees were taking really good care of us, and were very amiable.

Our stay at Olympus Villas was absolutely exceptional and exceeded all our expectations. The villas are beautifully nestled in a cool, peaceful forest, creating the perfect escape from the summer heat, while the beach is just a 1–2 minute walk away along a lovely shaded pathway directly from the complex. Each villa comes with an enormous private garden, offering plenty of space for children to play freely and for pets to enjoy as well. The outdoor area is fantastic, with a private pool, barbecue, and everything needed for a relaxing family holiday. One of the things we appreciated most was the privacy. The villas are separated by beautiful tall greenery, which creates a natural sense of seclusion and makes you feel like you have your own private retreat.

A very beautiful hotel with extremely friendly staff. We stayed for two nights in the middle of the week, and since a better room was available, the manager kindly offered us an upgrade from the one we had booked. The hotel has several swimming pools and sunbeds with direct access to the beach. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The food at the restaurant was excellent and varied, both at breakfast and dinner. In the evening, we were treated to local ouzo and enjoyed a live band playing traditional Greek music. Overall, a great value for money considering everything the hotel offers.

This is my 2nd visit. Much better weather this time.

This is my 2nd visit. Much better weather this time. One day I'll make it to the top of Mount Olympus. Really good taverna near our perfectly located hotel. View of Epineas Gorge from our balcony.

As a base it’s ok to explore the surrounding beaches, that said I wasn’t impressed with the beaches either but then I had just come from Halkidiki, Sithonia and the beaches there are beautiful so perhaps I’m being a bit unfair. Skotinis beach and in the opposite direction le moon beach bar on Mylos beach were my favourites. Platamonas is nice to have dinner & a walk one night. As is Nei Pori. Leptokarya itself is bigger than you think but just feels run down somehow. Not a place I’d go back to.

Platamonas is a great town to visit.

Platamonas is a great town to visit. Everything is centralized along the waterfront with great restaurants, shops, pharmacies and everything else within easy reach. The streets are kept very clean and the evenings provide a nice family atmosphere to walk, dine and get a gelato. The beaches are nice, with lidos to pay for an umbrella and lounges, or a free beach very close by. English is spoken at almost every shop, hotel and restaurant and I found nothing but curtesy in every transaction.

Great breakfast for only 6€.

Great breakfast for only 6€. Beautiful scenery and architecture. A true taste of Greece - only Greek tourists around. Felt very authentic. Wish we could have stayed longer as our visit was so relaxing. We visited the old castle, a local beach and Mount Olympus. Plenty of hiking routes to explore. The locals were all so friendly and welcoming.

good spot away from rush sities

good spot away from rush sities we were off season (end of April) so we couldn't get into the water (outside) but alot of restaurants and nice beaches around in 10 minuts drive very nice tour for Litochoro small toun and easy walking tour for Olimpus graen vally with small waterfall - park the car at the end west of the toun - very nice and good for families

Relatively to other Greek beaches, it was just relatively clean with space for people who like organized and unorganized beaches. To understand this review you need to visit both Paralia Skotinis and Nei poroi or trani amoudia in Chalkidiki which are two of the cleanest and spacious beaches on the mainland.

Nei Poroi are easy to navigate, wide streets, street parking, serviced beaches & free areas; great for families with children, lots of restaurants to choose from. If you prefer sight seeing, lots of wonderful places to visit close by.

We used Dion rather than the village of Litichuro as our base for climbing Mount Olympus - our guesthouse the Malathro Olympus was fabulous and the host, Giannus was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful - the local restaurant owners were friendly and fun too and it only takes 35 minutes to drive to Prionia, the base for the E4 Olympus trail

A small village primarily consisting of vacation homes.

A small village primarily consisting of vacation homes. The beach is beautiful and not too crowded. There are a few tavernas, shops, and cafés in the village center. It's an ideal spot for a quiet, relaxing vacation, with plenty of fresh air and a stunning view of Mount Olympus.

Litochoro is a fantastic place that combines the mountains...

Litochoro is a fantastic place that combines the mountains and the seaside in the best way. It is located at 300 meters above sea level with fresh air and only 15 minutes from the sea. It offers great opportunities for mountain tourism, lovely restaurants, and important religious sites. The peaceful setting, combined with natural beauty and culture, makes it an ideal destination for both relaxation and exploration.
