Review of Kynthia Hotel – Chalkidiki, Greece We stayed at Kynthia Hotel for 3 nights and had a very pleasant experience overall. The rooms were nicely furnished, clean, and equipped with air conditioning, which made our stay very comfortable. We had everything we needed in the room – nothing was missing. The property has a beautiful garden and is located slightly off the beaten path – perfect for those looking for some peace and quiet. There’s also a shared kitchen area in the garden, fully equipped and including a grill, which was a great bonus for cooking or enjoying meals outdoors. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away, and it’s absolutely stunning. The owners were incredibly kind, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. They also have a dog who’s both adorable and a little crazy – definitely added some character to our stay! The price was very reasonable. The only downside was the low-hanging lamps, which we occasionally bumped our heads into – a minor inconvenience in an otherwise great stay. Highly recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful spot close to beautiful beaches with warm, welcoming hosts

Wonderful, modern, comfortable complex between the villages of Metamorphosis and Nikiti, on the way to the second peninsula of Chalkidiki- Sithonia. The property is simply gorgeous. Modern rooms and villas, set on a wooded cliff overlooking the sea. The property has access to its own little beach, with very comfortable chairs and sun beds on a floating platform. Isolated beach. Calm, quiet, serene. Big pool also available, and a workout area. Cozy seating areas with stunning views of the sea for a drink, coffee, or just to chill and listen to the waves. I had the two-bedroom villa, which is very spacious and comfortable. You get your own patio and a little pools, plus views of the communal pool and the sea beyond. The property serves brekafast, but also has a proper restaurant for snacks and dinners. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. A total unexpected surprise. High quality food in a relatively remote setting. No dish was bad. In fact, we dined three nights in a row and quality was consistent. The fresh sauces were wonderful. The deserts were of such amazing quality. The fish and sea food absolutely fresh and delicious. Compliments to the chef. A limited, but good selection of wines. Wonderful staff. Great service. They are exceptionally polite and helpful. Even if something went wrong, it was immediately corrected. A very good crew. Place was clean spotless. It was the perfect, restful vacation I needed. The place exceeded expectations on all levels. Will return.

We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite with a private pool! It was an unexpected treat that both the adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed, even though the water was refreshingly cool. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a wide variety of dishes, with delicious Greek specialties as well as kid-friendly options. The hotel itself is situated in a stunningly beautiful area, and Lagomandra Beach is the perfect spot to take in breathtaking sunsets. A truly memorable stay for the whole family!

Ammouda Villas is next level, first of all, the greeting, Giannis (the host) spent some time to show us everything, garden, activities, beach, and so one. It was more than we expected! It was exceptional. Private shaded parking, private beach with sun bed and umbrella included, free bicycles to ride, table football, tennis table, basketball, SUP, and many other things. Garden and many fruit trees. From the beach you can see the Athos mount. Totally recommend, we will definitely revisit!

Best Place to stay, this resort was amazing, from the room was fantastic (we had the loft) & comfortable, staff were amazing and quick service. Great to have a beach bed allocated to your room everyday was a highlight, the pool was so nice and big. The food & drinks were at a high standard. Also had a gym which was nice & Car Park. Walking distance to Ormos Panayias.

Beautifully designed property, perfect for families. There’s all sorts of little corners easy for kids to be entertained. Even a well designed playground, kids pool and lots of toys both at the beach as the big pool. The beach area is where I could live forever. Good music playlist too.

I loved the Garden! We stayed there for 5 days and every time i went out of the room I was happy because of all those flowers, different fruit trees, roses and birds nests. This place has a really good energy and they are taking care of nature at least inside the hotel.

Nikiti has both strengths and weaknesses.

Nikiti has both strengths and weaknesses. The beach is very long, but generally quite narrow, with only about 5–10 meters of sandy width in most areas. A road runs directly alongside the beach, so cars often pass just a few meters from where people are relaxing on the sand. There are also many small rocks both on the beach and in the water, making beach shoes highly recommended. Unfortunately, I developed a skin rash after a few days, which I believe was related to the water quality. Many properties in the area rely on septic tanks rather than a centralized sewage system, and during peak season this may contribute to occasional sewage-related issues in the sea. On the positive side, there is a lifeguard on duty, several water sports options, playgrounds and gaming areas for children, and pleasant walking opportunities along the shoreline. The sunsets are beautiful, and the marina and pier add to the atmosphere. The restaurants are generally excellent, especially for Italian cuisine and fresh seafood—I particularly recommend the lavraki (sea bass). Overall, while Nikiti offers good dining, scenic sunsets, and family-friendly amenities, the water quality concerns and the narrow, rocky beach were deal-breakers for me, and I would not choose to return.

It’s a nice spot, though there isn't much nightlife; the terrain is hilly with ups and downs. It’s set up for bathing and swimming,great if that’s your only goal,but the nightlife is non-existent. There are beautiful beaches nearby and plenty of parking wherever you like.

We just spent a week in April and it was so chill.

We just spent a week in April and it was so chill. The village has this really cool, laid-back vibe before the summer madness starts. The best part? That view of Mount Athos across the sea is unreal when the air is still crisp. Everything felt super authentic. We spent our few days wandering the quiet streets and hanging out at local spots. We also had a great time at Taverna Pirofani—the food was delicious (and totally affordable!), but it was the hosts who really made it special with their warm, welcoming vibe.

Vourvourou is a beautiful destination with crystal-clear water, stunning views, and a relaxing atmosphere. We especially enjoyed being just a 1–2 minute walk from the beach. The scenery is wonderful and makes it a great place for a peaceful vacation. However, our experience at the local beach was mixed. The beach itself was not as clean as we expected, and there were several boats anchored nearby, with others coming and going. At times, the smell of fuel was noticeable, which affected the otherwise beautiful setting. We also visited Maugli Beach Bar, where we had excellent cocktails and enjoyed the friendly service. However, we were disappointed by their beach policy. On our first visit, we spent over €40 on drinks and food, assuming we could relax on the sunbeds while enjoying our order. Instead, we were informed that using two sunbeds and umbrellas required an additional €25 until 4:00 PM. Since we already had our own beach chairs and umbrella in the car, we chose not to pay the extra fee. We were then asked to move to the small public beach area, which was very limited and not ideal for families with children. The issue wasn't the money itself-it was that this policy was never explained before we ordered. Had we known in advance, we could have made an informed decision. In our opinion, customers should be clearly informed about such conditions before placing an order. If a beach bar controls most of the beach area, its pricing and access rules should be communicated openly. It would also be reasonable to offer more flexible options for guests who only want to stay for a few hours instead of charging the full-day beach fee. Greece has always been one of our favorite destinations because of its hospitality, beautiful beaches, and welcoming atmosphere. We hope businesses continue to prioritize transparency and customer experience, as these are among the reasons people choose to return year after year.

Peaceful, laid back.

Peaceful, laid back. None of the noise and hassle of the island resorts. Super friendly people everywhere. Good value for money. Stunning beaches. Its a secret little gem thats unspoiled by over tourism. Still has small family run businesses that have that special Greek feel that make a holiday a lovely experience. Ideal for families and older people alike. A perfect spot for romantics

The beach was beautiful. The town was nice.

The beach was beautiful. The town was nice. I would definitely come here again. It is easy to get around in Ormos Panagias We ate at the hotel, or local taverns, Simadi in Neo Marmaras was an excellent place to eat.

The roads surrounded by lush green trees and the coves we visited were stunning. The sea was beautiful, and the views were breathtaking, though it was a bit crowded. In the evenings, the activity dies down quite early, and the roads become empty around 10 PM, whereas in city centers, the liveliness continues into the night.

The beautiful village, peaceful, clean, very near to the sea...

The beautiful village, peaceful, clean, very near to the sea (Trani Ammouda, large, sand beach with beach bars and free space for your umbrellas if you like). Every Wednesday there is traditional live music in the centre of the town. All beaches in Sitonia from this village are very close

stay in the tourist area. people will like you better if they think you can give them money for they way they behave. don't mingle with the locals, you might have some bad luck. Sykia village, happy market.

We stayed 6 nights in Porto Koufo - 5 would have been enough...

We stayed 6 nights in Porto Koufo - 5 would have been enough for us. Anyway, Porto Koufo was just for sleeping - we went every day to a different beach - we travelled by car. Geographically, the place has some peculiarities: it is a very sheltered port, with some lagunas nearby. This means no wind - hence a lot of mosquitoes. The village is small - a single super-market, but it carries most things one might need. Nonetheless, a lot of restaurants - and some very good and quite expensive - compared with other places in Sithonia. Might be because of the port and the yachts that are using it? The beach is artificial .... after two meters you plunge directly into deep waters.
