I loved the countryside view with horses in the sunset. I would definitely stay again on a future visit to the area. Only 35 minutes drive to Plitvice lakes!

Perfect location. The resort is beautiful, carefully planned to retain a natural feel, but with all commodities one could want. Our room in the pavillion was comfy and had everything we need. Lots of facilities and entertainment options. I loved the simplicity of the breakfast vouchers. Breakfast was exceptional. The staff was very friendly. There were also friendly kitties on the grounds that chaperoned us around the resort in the evenings! :)
This time of year it's perfect for a quiet getaway. Keep in mind that some facilities at the resort are closed, as well as some local field trip options, so if you want more activities in and around the resort, visit when it's warmer.

Photos, however beautiful they are, really don't do this apartment justice. It's like stepping into a spacious cabin with breathtaking views, a cozy wood stove, and really comfortable bed. It's a 15–20 minute drive from Plitvička Jezera, so perfect if you're visiting the park, and Lou, the dog mentioned in several reviews, is a sweetheart and will run alongside your car when you go up the driveway and greet you. The tap water isn't for drinking, but Blanka, the host, provides a large bottle of water upon check-in (there's a Studenac market close to the road the apartment is on where you can stock up on more bottles as needed).

Camping Korana was the perfect place to stay during our visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The location is ideal – just the right distance from the park, making it easy to get there early while still enjoying some peace and quiet away from the crowds.
The campsite itself was spotless. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, which made our stay super comfortable. One of the highlights was the breakfast – generous, fresh, and a great way to start the day before heading out to explore the lakes.

The staff is very friendly. Very convenient and close to highway but at the same time quiet. The included breakfast in the price is also very convenient and comfortable. For a transit night this is a great place. I could pay with a credit card. Clean and fresh smelling linens. We arrived after 9pm and there was no problem to check.

Everything was a lovely experience! The staff was very attentive to our daughter's dietary restrictions, making sure she could eat safely at all meals. The air conditioning worked great and the water pressure was excellent, both of which made a difference after a long, hot day of sightseeing!

Amazing place in the nature, quiet and 1 minute walk from Camping Slapić, where you can enjoy in perfect clean Mrežnica river! The house was amazing, beautiful, I felt like home, and we had lovely neighbors (small cat and dog)

We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice.
We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice. We booked our tickets a day before for 7am. I'm glad we went early as from 9am the park was very busy. We used entrance 2, for a longer walk (but not the longest), it was very good until we reached entrance 1 (by small ferry) which was extremely busy. I do not recommend entrance 1 as the queue for ferry was very very long. Generally avoid busy periods if you want to enjoy nature.

You really need several days to visit what that place has to offer. Don’t miss the Spelaton center and Barać caves. We been on Barac Traill race and the organizers really do the best of them. Also don’t miss the fast food in rakovica on road by the Apartment green park with delicious burgers.

The real world Rivendell (from the Lord of the rings).
The real world Rivendell (from the Lord of the rings). Thousands of small waterfalls between the houses. Very good restaurants serving locally grown trouts. Possibility of swimming in the river at the bottom of the chain of waterfalls. Plitvice is only 30 mins.

This town is very close to Plitvice and a great place to stay for less money than the official Plitvice hotels. There are a couple of restaurants in town, Restoran Degenija serves delicious food, a bit upscale, though not too expensive. Most of the town is on the main road to Plitvice, so there is a lot of traffic.

The location itself is small place following the main road to the sea. But the location is also very close to all the local attractions such as Plitvice national park, Baraceve spilje, Deer Valley etc. It offers many possibilities for hiking, cycling, walking in the wild or take longer trips to locations some distance away. It was completely ok for us, as we went by car to other attractions, but everything was near our hotel. The nature is amazing, people are very helpful and friendly. Excellent!

Karlovac is a great place to visit when travelling to the sea. There is a nicely renovated medieval castle looking down the Kupa River with a surprisingly good bistro in the courtyard. The Tesla Center worths a visit when you are travelling with kids. It is playfully interactive and educative, and the Riverside Beach is just on the other side of the street. We heard that the local beer fest is a must-see program as well. It is usually in the last week of August. There is also a river aquarium, but we didn't have time to visit it this time.

The house was clean and nicely decorated for Christmas. It was well equiped with everything necessary for a barbeque. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We especially loved the gift of local delicacies of smoked sausages and cheeses. There was even homemade bread. All so delicious! We would recommend this place to friends and family for a quiet getaway!

River Kolpa is top.
River Kolpa is top. This part of the river coast with the water steps and river depth is perfect for little children. However the river itself is a hidden paradise. Please to everyone keep it clean, use the trash bins and remove/take it with you/ your waste.
Adlesici is on the hill upwards the river bank. Very quiet and beatiful place.

Near Plitvice Lakes, quiet area, but near many local restaurants and supermarkets.
Restaurant of choice was GRAND LAKES RESTAURANT, Plitvicka Jezera. Wonderful food and friendly staff.
Barac Caves is the perfect place to chill, play area for children and three forest trails leading from the carpark. Exceptionally clean and plush toilets there too!

We stayed here primarily to visit Plitvice national park but the area was beautiful, a complete contrast to the Croatian coastline. It felt very Austrian in influence with chalet style houses, lots of green countryside and flowers. It was also a lot cheaper to eat out and buy coffees/ice creams than on the coast. Plitvice was incredible (although v hot and busy in August). I would like to go back at a quieter time as there were long queues to get on the boats which was not ideal in the heat with children. It was a shame that there is nowhere you are allowed to swim as we would have enjoyed the opportunity to cool off!
