CanadaOur hostess, Marinka, was really helpful and kind. She made us feel welcome right away. The location is great - only a 3 minute walk to town. The place is spotless and well looked after. There is a common kitchen and patio, which made the stay comfortable. Bonus - there is a washing machine and powder, so you can do laundry while there. We would happily recommend!

Perfect, quiet location a one minute walk from sea front restaurants and a 5 minute walk to a mini supermarket.
Monika, the owner, was the best. Allowed me an early check in coming off the ferry because the room was empty and even sent a video of how to find it after a 200 metre walk from the ferry.
Highly recommended.

The property has a great location and it is very central to town. Everything was as stated in the ad. We loved the rooftop balcony and the fact that there is a kitchen available because so many options didn’t have that. This is nicer than what I consider a three star property. Other reviews made a few complaints, but I think their expectations were unrealistic. If you want to stay at the Ritz, book there. This is a great property.

Komiza Provita Guesthouse was excellent, close to the centre and the beach. The room was extremly clean and it had everything we needed. Will definitely come back again. The host Tonio and his mum were great hosts, they gave us all the important infos. Tonio let us use the parking after the check out and even when I woke him up from the nap, he brought the card for the parking. Big reccomendation!

Own free parking at unit. Perfect location to walk to Komiza town. Met by Katarina at property. Extremely friendly and helpful. Komiza is an amazing small town to relax and enjoy.

15 min walk from VIS town - would recommend getting a taxi with your bags. Owner was so lovely - let us drop our bags early.

We live in a neighboring country and have traveled...
We live in a neighboring country and have traveled extensively in Croatia. Vis is our favorite island. The beaches are stunning, the food is great, there's interesting history, it's not crowded or over-touristed and it's not too big. I wouldn't necessarily recommend Vis for a first trip to Croatia unless it's part of a longer itinerary because there's a bit less to do on the island, but for those who simply want to relax and enjoy a pretty authentic island experience, Vis is perfect. We recommend Srebrena beach, Zaglav (a great sandy beach for kids, even though it's a walk), and Stiniva (our girls managed the hike without problem, but they are used to hiking). For food, we loved Roki for Peka and Dida Luka for fresh fish. The island is small and easy to navigate, but it's definitely best to have your own vehicle to fully explore and experience everything Vis has to offer.

Komiža is really nice place to spend your holydays, lots of restaurants and bars, offers daily trips by boat around the island and to island Biševo. Atmosphere is very relaxed and easy going, just how it is supposed to be when you are on you vacation. Beaches are really beautiful and clean. If you have a car, you can easily visit other places and beaches on the island traveling up to 20 minutes.

When we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely host.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely host. There was 2 beers in the fridge and some nuts which was a lovely add. It was clean and can’t fault the host or the room. However, the only thing to be made aware of is that the location is very far away from the port. It is a 20 minuet walk to the beach. A supermarket near by is mentioned however we were not able to find it. Luckily we had hired a car and were able to drive to others about 30 minuets away. There are 2 restaurants which are both lovely within walking distance but only sell fish related dishes. Would be perfect for a weekend away of peacefulness and to get away from others.

Great Island to visit.
Great Island to visit. We didn’t have a car but managed as a group of 6 with local taxi drop off and pick up. Milna bay a great place to spend a chill day - take a picnic. Loved the outdoor cinema and amazing ice cream in Vis town. Komiza was also beautiful. Recommend visrent for boat and skipper hire to visit beaches only reachable by sea.

Komiza has a small village feel to it.
Komiza has a small village feel to it. The architecture is beautiful to walk around the surrounding streets. There are about 4/5 pebble beaches within about a 10-15 min walk. The water is warm and crystal clear. The restaurants are based around the harbour area and provide pretty good food.
There are plenty of 1 day boat trip options available and there are 2 Scuba Diving centres in the village. There are bike/motorbike hire to explore the countryside around the island.
This place is idyllic, but don't tell anyone!

The most beautiful island in Croatia <3 Definitely will be back: Srebrena Beach, City of vis, Mala Travna, Stiniva is just woooow!! :D We have rented a scooter, and moving around the island was super easy

The beaches were amazing!
The beaches were amazing! It felt like a more family-friendly type of island, which was great. There were good restaurants. We really enjoyed it and could do a lot of boat experiences, which were great and not that expensive. The only negative thing was that the locals were not at all friendly.
