The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. The property is recommended by Le Guide du Routard. The location of the b&b is absolutely amazing. We saw a seal from our bedroom window! Clifden is only a 10min drive so you're still close to shops and restaurants, but nature is right on your doorstep. We were received warmly by the host, Lydie, who gave us information about the area and showed us the room. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, there were home made jams, almond coconut paste, chocolate paste and caramel. So tasty. Also a selection of fresh fruit and of course pancakes or full Irish. All in all we had a great time and loved our stay!

Guest Favourites: Guests highly rate the host, breakfast provided by the property, and the scenic location. This place is something else. I will come back for sure. They are being humble with the photos and actually it's very difficult to depict how beautiful everything is. It is hard to believe that somebody is living like this. Do spend at least two days here. And take time to walk around.

The town of Oughterard had a few nice Pub's and a grocery that was well stocked. Our host Christian was great and his new puppy Emily couldn't be more adorable
