Everything about the place. I had a fab time. the food was yummy. the staff were fab. What more can I say.

Great location. Large, clean rooms, comfy large beds. Great staff. We ate both nights of our stay at the restaurant as the food, cocktails, service and ambience was great. Especially our Chilean bar/waiter. Parking excellent being next door. We got upgraded rooms on floor with lift access as my friend using a stick. We much appreciated that gesture.

We travelled in Ireland for 3 weeks, and our stay at the George was the most memorable. We received a very warm welcome on arrival. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The on-site restaurant, Vincenzo's Grill serves delicious starters. We sampled a July special which included a tasting of almost all items on the starter menu, and they were all delicious. At breakfast, our family of 4 selected 4 different breakfast options, and we all thought our breakfast that morning was the best breakfast we had had in Ireland. Whether you prefer a full Irish, sweet pancakes, eggs Benedict or avocado toast, you will not be disappointed at the George. Every staff member we encountered was kind and thoughtful. It was indeed a very pleasant stay. And for the cherry on top - a few days after our stay, we realised we may have left a bag of shoes at the hotel. I messaged reception and received a very quick response stating the bag had been found. They offered to post it to us, but as we were passing that way en route back to Dublin we were able to go back to collect. The George got 4/4 votes from our family for best hotel in Ireland!

Location was great. Had a Lidl right next door. The hotel was cute and rustic but rooms were nicely moderns and very clean. The restaurant was great too!

Good location and friendly staff. I was having trouble trying to call a taxi by the end of my stay and the receptionist helped me calling a taxi from her phone. Everything went fine as expected and this hotel was a good place to stay.

Beautiful hotel from once you entered the front doors you were greeted by very friendly staff, we had dinner and breakfast there too and it was top class. Hotel was clean and the room was very comfortable, we got an upgrade which made our stay even better.

The breakfast was excellent and lot of selection. Warm eggs. It was very filling. The coffee was good. There were fruits and cereals. The menu had good selections, something for everyone. They had someone carry my suitcase up and down the stairs for me. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the room was warm. Ususally I freeze in hotels.

The hotel is very cool. The staff is great, everyone is very kind and friendly. Ideal place for family. I took my dog ​​and it was an incredible experience!

The room had everything one would need, with bathrobes provided and large comfortable bed. The bathroom included both a shower and a bathtub which was very nice. Though the weather was not good enough to use the patio, we expected as much at this time of year, but its inclusion was appreciated, with a lovely view on to the river and pier below. The breakfast was good, especially with room service being available, made it very handy so that we did not need to walk from the lakeside part of the hotel to the main building. The leisure centre had everything one would expect.
