There's so much to do in the area. we went summer skiing at the glacier (Stelvio), which was ok (lots of long lines for the button lifts because of the hundreds of ski club teams). But the nearby QC Terme Bagni Vecchi was amazing. Would like to have stayed longer for hiking and mountain biking. Livigno is one of a kind. Location is distant from everything, but the place is magical. Almost always sunny, be prepared for a lot of sun. Great italian cuisine. Good prices as it is duty free zone. A very pretty little town, full of old, new, and modern houses. A delightful combination with a gorgeous view of the mountains and the valley. A few places to eat, and more to grad a glass of wine, or an icecream, and while away the hours. Many hiking destinations and leisure activities in the vicinity, as well as historic sites to visit.
