There are so many things we loved about Borgo Il Poggio Agritourismo that it's hard to pick just one! The property is beyond beautiful, with breathtaking views that left us in awe every day. The tranquil and relaxing atmosphere provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, allowing us to truly unwind and recharge. Jennifer and her exceptional team spoiled us with their warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like part of their family, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Their genuine care and attention to detail made our experience truly special. We also loved the immersive agritourismo experience, which allowed us to fully appreciate the beauty of the Italian countryside. Whether we were exploring the trails through the vineyards, enjoying the delicious, home-cooked meals, or simply lounging by the pool, every moment spent here felt like a dream. Borgo Il Poggio Agritourismo is a place where we found relaxation, amazing hospitality, and extraordinary beauty. We can't wait to return and experience it all over again.

We had the most wonderful stay at Castellare di Tonda and cannot thank the entire team enough. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home—from their warmth and professionalism to the way they kindly accommodated our last-minute changes with such grace. The property is absolutely stunning, the food was exceptional, and every detail of the experience was filled with care and heart. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat, and the hospitality we received made it even more special. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of our next visit. Thank you for everything—you made our time there unforgettable!

Everything was amazing! The location is perfect. directly facing San Gimignano. Adorable restaurant/reception with fireplace, fantastic pool with a stunning view (shame we couldn’t use it due to weather) the cutest cat called Bombay would lounge around. The room was so quaint, really well designed and very very comfortable. everything was perfect! I would stay again in a heart beat. Vitoria and Andreas were so sweet and charming and very helpful and Vanessa the amazing chef. her 4 course meal on the first night was spectacular. a must if you are staying.

It was our first real Tuscan hotel after a few nights in Florence. And it was like a breath of fresh air. I could return anytime for the garden with the incredible pool or the beyond amazing breakfast. Of course the room was spot clean and modern. What can be better than enjoying a glass of red wine near the pool surrounded by the Tuscan hills.

San Gimignano is well worth spending a few days in, especially if you want to explore the Tuscan countryside and visit a few wineries! Much better to spend three or five nights there instead of just a one day bus trip from Florence. Every day as the tourists were getting off the buses and heading into town, we were walking to our car to go wine tasting. By the time we arrived back in the late afternoon, the crowds were thinning, and we had the town to ourselves in the evening! A wonderful visit!!

The apartement was even nicer than pictures. There was oil and a bit of vinegar as well as salt and pepper. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities. The pool looked really nice but we did not have time to take advantage of it. Check in was easy even though we arrived very late at night. Same for the check out.

I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count. This is my first time stopping in and staying in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The location is very close to all the major sites in Tuscany. Volterra and San Gimignano are extremely closeby as well as Chianti. There is a charm to the old town area of Colle di Val d'Elsa, not a ton of tourists like the other sites in the area.

We used Empoli as a base as the train station offered many possibilities as a central hub. We did however really enjoy a lovely walk in the scenic hills. The center was clean and had a really nice vibe to it and the locals were very friendly. We were also told by a historian that the city had a good museum of art although we didn't have time to investigate further unfortunately due to time.

Fantastic little town with tonnes of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The museum ticket is great value as it gets you into lots of the historic sights. We enjoyed the weaponry exhibit as you were allowed to hold and try on the different artefacts which was cool! We parked nearby and paid with card on exit (only line up at the ticket machine if you’re paying cash). The onsite wine shop (connected to the popular winery near by) was delicious too. Would definitely recommend this town for people to visit and dine at!

Cute little spot, we only stayed there for one evening on our way down to Val D'Orcia from Pisa Airport. The town itself is lovely, we came on a Thursday evening and wandered into the village for a pizza at Happy Days which was great and so tasty, the staff were also lovely. There was also some great karaoke going on at one of the bars which seemed to be locals and some tourists enjoying their evening. It was lovely! Definitely recommend visiting here, there seemed to be lots more lovely restaurants too.
