Great location and beautiful setup. Nice room

A nice value for the price. This hostel is made for western people (large bath, not hard matresse and pillow with the small balls combo...ect). As a minor drawback there is not a lot of electric outlet and they are not greatly placed in the room. We also got the women bath code but we were two males. The personal is great and well english spoken. The view in the room suxx, but you can get a nice one from the hotel lobby, especialy at night. Its good that everyrthing is on the same floor and the bath is decent. The buffet is nice and not so cheap so it could help. Its too expensive tho. As a side note, we booked during hanami season and there were a lot of those customer visiting as 50 in a bus if you catch my drift. Viva kumamon!

Location was great, 10 mins walk from the shopping district and the castle. The room was also well sound-proofed, didn’t need my ear plugs to sleep. Bathroom and sheets were clean and span. Staff were also v professional, even the gentleman manning the carpark!

Had an amazing stay here, this was the best hotel room I've stayed in throughout my trip in Japan and it has raised my standards for future accommodations. Room and bathroom are spacious, clean, large comfortable bed and enough space for suitcase. Hotel lobby always smelled good and the breakfast was generous, with plenty of options to choose from. Location is an easy flat walk from Sakuramachi bus terminal and they kept my suitcase before checkin time.

All the staff were very kind and were very satisfied with the facilities, location, and cleanliness. I'm willing to revisit and highly recommend it.

I stayed the Kumamon theme room! The brand of Mitsui Garden is the guarantee for high quality satisfaction, which include the hotel rooms and hospitality. The Kumamon theme room is so cute and even have Kumamon doll staying in the room to accompany you.

Our daughter was not feeling well when we arrived and needed to lie down. The staff very kindly accommodated us during our check in so she can recuperate. We are so very thankful for their consideration. Staff was attentive and kind. It was greatly appreciated.

Good location. Just opposite to the bus terminal. Great breakfast & springs. The outdoor spring is wonderful. Next to shopping mall with information centre for bus tickets & SUNQpass reservation inside. Many good restaurants nearby. Almost all scenic sites are within walking distance.

A fantastic modern hotel right in the heart of Kumamoto city. Next to a main tram terminal, mirroring/built into the main shopping street and a stone throw away from Kumamoto castle, it's neighbouring museums and Kumamon square. Staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful in fluent English, the breakfasts were restaurant quality, the balcony view was fantastic for watching the heart of Kumamoto go by, day, evening and night, and the rooms themselves were cozy, well equipped and blended traditional looks and feels with modern amenities and furnishings. A wonderful stay in a wonderful city. Thank you so much.

The service was amazing. The location is great right in the center of downtown with a lot of things to see. They even let me borrow an iron.

That’s really an amazing hotel I have ever stay in when visiting Japan. The location is great, 3min walk to the bus or train station, 5min walk to the business street. And the room contains everything I needed and big enough for open my luggage. Also, I like the SPA lounge in floor 12th. It has a nice view for the Kumamoto Castle. The staff are nice as always and I would like to stay here again once I visit Kyushu area.

The rooms are clean and they provide everything you need. A lot of options for breakfast. It is a good stay to go to Mt Aso in the morning. They provide the stickers for tattoos for the onsen (250yen)
