There were many things that were good. The location was excellent, The staff are very hospitable and offer personalized service. After check in we were taken to the room. Oh the room… From the patio to the design of the beds everything was top notch. Talking about the facilities, there were 2 pools, one large one. The large one had private pool cabanas with direct pool access and it is included in the room rate. There was a mini gym, pool bar, The lounge, multiple meeting rooms, spa, lotus gallery which had tons of fish and you could also feed them! They also had a spa, multiple clean bathrooms, poolside restaurant, La pergola which was closed for renovation, room service. The resort was filled with greenery, and upon arrival we were given 3 bottles of mosquito repellent for free. There were free bottles of water, toiletries, slippers, and in the lobby they had maps of Phnom Penh. The food at the breakfast was superb. Even for vegetarians there was plenty of variety! Shakes, coffees, hot food, bakery, live stations. Value for money. A peaceful oasis at the heart of Phnom Penh.

Marriot, Hyatt, Sheraton, Hilton, you are on notice! The baby boomers are no longer travelling, and the next generation don't want you shirt and tie, no atmosphere and no ambience. We now have Tribe. After arriving from the congested streets which are a part of Phnom Penh, I was greeted by the most friendly and welcoming staff into a modern hotel with cool contemporary music. The facilities of this hotel are five-star all the way, from the plush beds and bedding, to the pool which is actually long enough to swim, so I had to take the plunge and you get to lounge on the side overlooking the mighty Mekong. The common space is carefully created with ambience in mind, so music is key. In the evening, cool music, and in the morning ambient peaceful music - so important. As a linguist, I travel for my work and have done about a hundred reviews, but never one has completely nailed it, until now! This hotel is the new five-star standard, run by an amazing staff of friendly workers who obviously enjoy their work and work hard happily. Headed by Harrison Bong, and besides having the coolest name on the planet, he runs a crew of dedicated staff in Nareth, Narry, Sonny, and the guy studying IT on the front desk. All of these people made my stay perfect. I know you will agree with me and will not be disappointed in this hotel, so a small request. The average wage is about $250 a month. I'm an Aussie from a non-tipping nation, but I make exceptions for wonderful people who could use my next cup of coffee money more than me - dig deep if you love them, guys!

    Phnom Penh is a very cultural heritage capitol.

    Phnom Penh is a very cultural heritage capitol. It is beautiful in many areas with temples, periods and high ranking official buildings. But there is no money spent on the people and community. There should be more infrastructure to help the people in the streets. The streets should be cleaned and housing made better. It’s such a shame that the wealth is only for the wealthy. But it was good to see . Phnom Penh is a city that you don’t need a lot of time to explore. , I suggest 4-5 days is plenty.

    We did an Architectual tour by cyclo that was great, very informative and lots of fun It is a surprisingly easy city to navigate we used the Grab app which made getting a tuk tuk or car so much easier. They will no longer accept you without a booking in Phonm Penh so be prepared Everyone was surprisingly helpful just dive into the experience and be prepared to laugh the Khemer people will laugh with you as well as at you

    The city is diverse.

    The city is diverse. Some areas are old and packed with food carts while others are lined with government buildings and universities. I was not there to sight see but just to fly out. I stayed three nights which was enough for me. I had been in Siem Reap for 2 months so it was a bit nerve racking to be in a big noisy city with traffic.
