The hotel is in a quiet location, but not too far from the night market and pub street (5min by foot). The room was great, clean and had everything that was needed (refrigerator, Minibar, AC, safe). The people are so nice, you get a cold towel after a hot sightseeing day and we were welcomed with a tee and snacks. In general, they have free snacks in the afternoon with a tee. There is filter water and two metal bottles to avoid plastics. They arrange trips, tours and guides for Angkor Wat and a lot of temples around. The pool is great, especially after a long day, you can enjoy it. They have a restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is great and perfect, if you would like to eat without going anywhere. All in all, a really great stay.

They always greet you with a big smile and go out of their way to ensure you’re having an enjoyable stay. Dalin in particular was amazing. She helped us plan out our week and figure out how to bus to Laos after. Mr. Ra, our TukTuk driver arranged through the hotel, was also fantastic. We did the three day tour of Angkor Wat with Mr. Ra and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The AC works very well. We loved using the big bathtub after a long day of walking. The pool was also a fantastic feature. The hotel is in a great area, as it’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the Old Market and Pub Street. Finally, nothing could beat the buffet breakfast (2 warm dishes, sugar donuts, croissants, toast, buns, 2 types of fruit, plus coffee and tea). We were very sad to leave here and would 1000% recommend to anyone to stay at Residence 1960. You’ll be so happy you did.

It was a bit out of town but the hotel offered their own tuk tuk into town. Lovely room, with excellent balcony. Exceptionally helpful staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Booked the tuk tuk to round the temples and he was excellent. Very good value and a really pleasant 4 day stay.

The rooms were above and beyond what I expected, the bed was the best bed i have slept in and that is the truth, the rooms are cleaned beautifully every day leaving a pleasant fragrance all day,the food was great and so was the rooftop pool.,it is without doubt one of the best hotels we have stayed in and I have to admit I was sad to leave,and I will be recommending this hotel to everyone I know should they visit siem reap.
