- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 548 reviews1. Very tastefully decorated, with an eye to authentic Moroccan style. 2. Amazing staff 3. Classical Moroccan breakfast (too big) If it's you first time to Fez, ask Taxi to drop you at Blue Gate. Cant drive up to the Riad because it's inside old city (Alternatively book a ride through the hotel) Have to be prepared to drag your bags about 200m from Blue Gate to the hotel or get one of the porters to carry themGuest review bySYEDSaudi Arabia

The issue was that I booked accommodation in the old medina which is a labyrinth. This leaves tourists being constantly harassed by locals trying to scam money from them or deliberately deceiving them about closed streets, etc. Skip Fez and go to Marrakech and Essouira. So much better without all the hassles:)Guest review byRichardUnited States - 2.0

I think that one day Raddison Blu can be a great hotel as they have good facilities. What they lack is flexibility and customer attention as their focus is on satisfying the needs of all guests without paying attention to each.Guest review byEDWARDUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Booking.
Booking. Com is very hard to write a review in the system, it deleted all my long descriptions. The accommodation was wonderful and welcoming. The 15th century palace in the middle of the 9000 Fez alleyways was stunning and beautiful. The staff was exceptional and helpful and quickly became friends. Moroccan people are polite and respectful and helpful.Guest review bycorinnaUnited States - 4.0

-It shouldn’t be 4 starts hotel. It’s very very old. TVs are not working in all rooms ( literary) so many plugins are not working. Lamps are not working. - rooms are extremely small specially the triple ones. -The hotel is Average clean -The view was amazing from our balcony -Breakfast is very limited but acceptable. You can ask for good coffee for additional 15 MAD. -Location is excellent. The staff are amazing, super friendly.Guest review byIwFeIUnited Arab Emirates - 6.0
Loved the beautiful artisanal crafts and decor everywhere.
Loved the beautiful artisanal crafts and decor everywhere. Love this place for its connection to history. What I didn’t like was how the people living in the medina would lie about roads being closed, keep trying to befriend you in a fake way do they can lead you anywhere then fight about tips. I also really disliked the obscene tourist pricing in the markets. Artisans and shop kerpers mark up items 4, 5 or more times what the price of the item should be. A lot of deception and trickery when selling.Guest review byAnonymous - 2.0

I was in and around Fez during Ramadan.
I was in and around Fez during Ramadan. This requires believers to give up food and drink from sunrise to sunset. That is why we, as tourists, must behave respectfully towards the natives/locals... The hustle and bustle in the Medina is normal, Friday threre is a day like Sunday for us in EU. For Medina I recommend the first visit with a guide so as not to get lost between 900 - 10,000 streets As far as I know, there have been some issues at the airport with mobile boarding tickets in the past (they were calculated for paper printing), so it may be better to fix this sooner. As far as I could see on April 12, the couple in front of me came with mobile cards (on the phone) and they kindly gave them boarding passes for freeGuest review byMladenSlovenia - 4.0

It is close to the main road, relatively quite, staff are friendly, but the hotel is crying for renovation, even the beds sheets are old and have holes in them, its dated and lost its spark, its good for one night or two to crash in, if you only use it to sleep the night, very boring.Guest review bySulayman - 4.0

Same as marrakesh but not as exhausting. Same tip culture! Really off putting for those who do not come from this tipping culture. Would skip Fes if I was doing the trip again… I would have stayed in Ifrane instead.Guest review byKathrynIreland - 2.0
Location was nice
Location was nice Residence was not equipped and was very dirty I rented two bungalows and both had. Blocked sinks. Infested by ants, flies and insects. Was very dirty and that was done was poor. Pillows had no pillow cases and not enough towels left over to give us from hotel side.Guest review byRedouanUnited Kingdom
