I recently had the pleasure of staying at Boutique Hotel Casa del Mare - Vizura in Montenegro, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a welcome drink, setting the tone for the impeccable service we would receive throughout our stay. The staff were excellent, consistently providing high-level service and ensuring all our needs were met. I loved how they cleaned our rooms while we were at breakfast. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, offering all the comforts we could ask for. The facilities at the hotel were top-notch, including a lovely infinity pool with a great view of the bay, where we spent many relaxing afternoons. One of the highlights was the beautiful balcony view, which provided a serene backdrop for our mornings and evenings. The hotel's small boutique size made the environment peaceful, and the location is ideal for those who prefer a bit of distance from the hustle and bustle, yet it is just a 15-minute walk down to the bay (beach and restaurants), and only a 10-minute drive from the busy, main area at the southern base of Kotor Bay. The breakfast was excellent, with a buffet offering fresh fruit, pastries, meats, and cheeses, along with made-to-order main dishes and coffee or tea. A small note for future visitors: most things are closed on Sundays, but the helpful hotel staff assisted us in booking a taxi, making it easy to reach the busier areas at the base of Kotor Bay. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

All the hotel staff were helpful and I would like to thank the reception staff for their cooperation and changing the type of suite to a corner suite overlooking the square and sea view which is what I had wished for and the type of reservation was according to the pictures that appeared to me on the Booking website. Thank you very much. I will make sure to stay here again when I visit Montenegro.

It’s a beautiful boutique hotel in an out of this world setting, with a beautiful pebble beach surrounded by mountains. The hotel staff are exceptional, and Vladana always greeted us with a smile and went out of her way to help us numerous times.     My stay at Vila Perast was fantastic - and it all started with the warm welcome I received from both Andrijana and Goran! Andrijana went above and beyond to assist me during my stay, provided information on where to go and how to get there, she also kindly helped arrange my transfer for the day I left which was one less thing to worry about. Goran was very friendly and always willing to help, from offering to drop me wherever I needed to go and offering assistance with my luggage, to waiting with me at the gates for my transfer to make sure it came. The hotel itself was fantastic, from its cleanliness and comfort, to its great location! Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, however the standout for me was the outstanding service provided by Andrijana and Goran. I look forward to returning in the future and hopefully experiencing their hospitality once again.

    Here’s a concise and well-structured review for you: An amazing stay! The house owners were incredibly helpful, guiding us on local customs, where to shop, and what to do. Everything matched the description and photos perfectly, and the view was mesmerizing. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and very affordable for the facilities provided. A special thanks to the owner for assisting us when the market was closed and even helping with cash exchange. He also cleaned the place upon our request on the second day. Overall, a fantastic experience—highly recommend booking this place!

    A very small peaceful place in the Kotor Bay.

    A very small peaceful place in the Kotor Bay. We were there in August and there was no public events, parties, or other entertaining options. You have only few local stores, a bakery, few restaurants, and a beach to enjoy. The only road leading through Prcanj is pretty very stressful to drive it. It is very narrow and windy with blind corners and yes, count with many stops and much longer ride because of busy traffic. If you need more contents, Kotor is a very nice city to visit nd not so far.

    Good self catering apartment equipped with basic kitchen utensils for cooking. Would be helpful to have some necessities such as cooking oil, salt and pepper, which guests staying only a few nights as we did, are unlikely to purchase. Two double bedrooms and two bathrooms means the apartment would be particularly good value when shared between more than one family. Good base for exploring Boka Bay, though there are options closer to Kotor if this is your main reason for visiting. All in all we found the apartment a great base for our short trip. The pool area was lovely with sensational views. We would have liked to know that there was no cafe/ bar on site however, as the photos showed, as this was part of the reason we chose this particular apartment. During the day we ate at Tramontana Beach Bar which was lovely - a bonus was the children’s play area. We had a day out exploring Boka Bay with a private hire boat company - Taxi Boat 65. We found this to be an excellent way to make the most of our short time there and our skipper to be very knowledgeable and informative. On this day we ate at Ribarsko selo - a fish/ seafood restaurant accessed by boat. The setting was beautiful and the food wonderful. You do need to book ahead.

    Stunning scenery.

    Stunning scenery. We were told that the Old Town of Kotor would get busy when a cruise ship was in town, but this didn't really have the impact we expected. Certainly quieter after 6pm when the ships have gone but manageable before that. We took a speed-boat trip which was a great idea. There are more sedate boat trips too. Staying a 15-minute walk outside of the Old Town, in the Dobrota neighbourhood was a great choice. Local supermarket and cafes very very close, and the water less than two minutes walk. Walk the Kotor Ladder path in the early morning before the sun peeks over the hill for absolutely incredible views over the whole bay. We also caught a local Blue Line bus to visit Perast.

    A beautiful little town - relaxed, historic and picture...

    A beautiful little town - relaxed, historic and picture perfect. Love that they have stopped cars entering the town. Restaurants along waterfront were all excellent, staff polite, helpful and spoke good English. Easy boat taxis to Our Lady of the Rocks. Seems to be a popular destination wedding venue, especially at weekends, but this just adds to the buzz of the town. Love love love Perast!! Two days is perfect.

    Nice small place, great with family with children.

    Nice small place, great with family with children. Small beaches, nice and quiet. City center is small but has a nice park and you can find great cafe with excellent cakes. There are restaurants on the seashore that has nice food. There is also museum "Rimski mozaici" that we didn't visit cause it wasn't working but we heard it is great.

    Dobrota is a quiet place located in the municipality of Kotor. It is a perfect place to stay if you want a quiet vacation and peace. The water is crystal clear, calm, and good for swimming, but there are not many sandy parts. There is no crowd by the sea because there are many locations where you can place your towel and take a swim. There is not enough shade, except in the beach bar or hotel bar. There are a few restaurants/beach bars, two markets, one bakery and that is all you need. The place is long and the waterfront stretches all the way to Kotor, so you can walk along its entire length. Food is pretty good in every restaurant. Daily temperatures are not too high because the place is surrounded by hills.
