Outstanding hotel with incredible staff. They are true professional and very well trained, the quality of the staff doesn't depend on who you speak to, they all offer the most highest service standards. It is very rare to see this. Restaurant is great, fine food. Breakfast is à la carte and you can order anything you want, it is all included in the standard breakfast fee: so good !

We were happy with our choice of this hotel, we would stay there again. The room was nice and clean and breakfasf was really tasty (also with coffee to go option). The parking was free of charge. It was a five minutes walk to the light rail train which took us to the centre of Bergen. We used the public transport app but you can buy tickets at the platform as well. Train arrived every 10 to 15 minutes. The ride was about 35 minutes long, the last stop is in the heart of the city.

The hotel is placed close to the main station. Beautifully decorated, the personnel is wonderfully available and helpful. Not only could I access my room early in the morning after a night train from Oslo, I was also upgraded into a luxurious room without even asking. The room was very clean, comfortable and charming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I only wished I had stayed longer.

This hotel is fantastic in every way. Reception staff wonderful, decor and cleanliness of room was amazing. Great coffee machine and I even used the shoe horn. I had a fab view of the harbour. Breakfast buffet was exceptional and the staff were very efficient. Great location. I was on my own and I felt safe and comfortable. What a wonderful wonderful stay. Thank you to all.

We spent NYE in Bergen and the fireworks were right outside our window. The view from the window was excellent - I found myself looking out the window occasionally. The room stayed warm at the right temperature, and the location was perfect. All city attractions were within walking distance from the hotel/apartment. Overall, it was a very cozy and relaxing stay.

Nice restaurant downstairs with a buffet every Friday, and nice breakfast. Room was clean and my request of a queen bed instead of 2 single beds was granted with quick confirmation from the hotel. TV was nice and could connect my phone to it for YouTube. Located right next to the train station.

We liked the light railway which made it very easy to get...

We liked the light railway which made it very easy to get around. We liked the Norwegian culture,people and the general feel of the place. If you like shopping it’s a shoppers paradise. We took the Bergenbannen train to Oslo, altogether a fabulous experience. Oh yes and we liked the biscuits which are the Norwegian kitkat type biscuit, difference is there biscuit is covered in thick real chocolate, delicious. What we didn’t like was the weather once back in Bergen…..it rained relentlessly and we couldn’t even see the Funicular which we’d planned to take up to the viewpoint.

Bergen is beautiful. Walkable and stunning. Great restaurants near Bryggen. The funicular led up to spectacular jaw dropping views. We had lots of snow!!! Kids and adults loved it. We took the scenic train to Voss which was excellent for family ski. Could have stayed much longer! Clarion Admiral is a lovely hotel, everyone friendly, Olivias restaurant on the harbour was very busy but squeezed us in for an excellent meal. Will be back!!!

I stayed in Bergen for two nights before catching the...

I stayed in Bergen for two nights before catching the Hurtigruten Coastal Express northwards. The city is relatively compact and safe to walk around. The public transport is clean and efficient. The Cafe Pomme near the Hurtigruten terminal became a favoured stop for a strong coffee and cakes (highly recommended). The funicular ride to a park with viewpoint over the city is well worth doing, and the Bryggen Museum is excellent and beautifully displayed. There is also a stave church (very rare) at Fantoft which you can get to easily using the tram.
