    Spectacular setting, in the charming port town of Son. The spa facilities, including the sauna, were first-rate. The dinner we had outside was the best we had during a two-week trip to Norway. Staff were friendly and always helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer.

    The staff was very helpful, we didn't have a key to get the Dryer working after the reception closed. I called and he managed to send someone who gave us a key. Check in and check out were very smooth and the Cabin was all that we needed.

    My impression of Oslo is that it appears to be a quiet...

    My impression of Oslo is that it appears to be a quiet unassuming city where living is likely quite comfortable. It has some interesting and very worthwhile museums. I wouldn't say it impresses with particular vistas or must see civic attractions. The Oslo Fjord is a picturesque waterway without overwhelming the visitor visually. One fact does require mention and this one is of course well known. In terms of value for the tourist currency, it is cheaper than Switzerland, but compared to other European destinations it limps behind by quite a margin.

    Their version of TSA needs to get their staff aligned. We clarified before security that we could take ice cubes in our water bottles (no liquid) and for whatever reason we went though two different security lines and my wife and kids had no issue with the ice in their bottles but on my own side they said I couldn’t have it, and I explained it’s ice and the guy goes “it’s still water”…. Also, good luck finding the water fountains!

    Geilo is a ski town.

    Geilo is a ski town. Skiing in Norway is more affordable than the United States and less crowded. Unlike many ski towns that I have been in, Geilo was pretty dead once the slopes were closed. There is no public transit within the city limits. Taxis are infrequent and expensive. If you stay for a few days, a car is recommended. We took the bus from Oslo to Geilo and the train from Geilo to Bergen. It is spectacularly beautiful and the young people working at the ski resorts were very cool. There is a nice international vibe.

    Spiralen is a must, even if you need a taxi - great views from the top after a drive through a feat of engineering. Walks along the river are very pleasant and a couple of museums are worth visiting, especially on Saturday when they are free entry ! Excellent transport links to other parts of South East Norway and Oslo

    This was my first time in Fredrikstad and my stay was for business travel. The area is friendly, has modern charm, and had plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. I hope to return again and stay longer on a personal schedule with my wife to enjoy more of the area.

    The apartment is next to the bus stop and a short bus ride to Lillestrøm train terminal. Lots of grocery stores and markets near by. Restaurants also. The largest shopping mall in Norway is located near Lillestrøm terminal. Strongly suggest to install the Ruter app if you plan to use public transport.

    Oslo is very interesting city, fast growing, with lost od modern buildings. We actually have to search for few streets with those little traditional small houses, because everything is much modern and bigger. We were there at the end of the summer so the weather was nice (every day little bit of rain and of course cloudy, but it was ok), and lot of people outside in the streets, in caffes and restaurants, iin the city center and also in the harbour.

    Ok you didn't handle the google payments.

    Ok you didn't handle the google payments. So we did the return booking which was made to booking.com. Did you do it or did booking do it. And following the comments of booking is that you are handling the page on booking.com you self. So why is it stored there. In this case I have paid 2 times the transaction costs of almost 10 euro's to transfer Eiro to NOK. Three question. How is it possible that the google pay transaction is on the page. And confirmed with a payment of the bank. Who did the return booking. Because the hotel is saying we didn't do a return booking. And booking is saying the financial transactions is totally in hand off the hotel. And now I have paid for nothing twice the transaction costs. Who is responsible for the site of the hotel on booking.com Added a screenshot of the bookings site. Added a screenshot of both transactions in the banking app. Added a Screenshot of the payment.     We had a wonderful stay at this apartment last weekend. The owner lady was incredibly kind and responsible, making sure everything was perfect for our arrival. Parking was hassle-free, which was a great relief. The apartment itself was exactly as described: clean, beautifully designed, and very quiet. It provided a peaceful retreat after our long trip and busy days of skiing. The sauna was a fantastic addition, offering much-needed relaxation and warmth. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a comfortable and serene place to stay. We will definitely consider returning in the future!
