It was very clean and quiet. It offered free secure parking for our SUV within property. Breakfast was included and good. Service excellent too. It was 2 block from main avenue (Av. Real) with good options for eating. 3 blocks from Plaza Vea supermarket. About 10 blocks from Plaza Constitucion.

Very clean. Comfortable beds and accommodating staff. The breakfast was excellent. Others comments mention the hotel as being expensive, but I disagree. This hotel maintains very high international standards. Staying at a hotel of this class in Cusco or Lima would be considerably more expensive. I am lucky to have found this gem in Huancayo.

The best thing about this hotel is the surrounding areas. The hiking trails and the garden with citrus fruits are amazingly beautiful. The swimming pool is refreshing after a hike. Breakfast is varied and the rooms have big balconies overlooking the city of La Merced. They also have an area were you can light a bonfire which we enjoyed a lot. You can take food from the restaurant and eat it by the fire.

see the property of my grand parents, and some relatives that live there. we ate every where no problem getting around. it was pretty easy because we use taxi for transportation. next time i will avoid wearing a expensive shoes.

Many Peruvian writers talk about Jauja in their books because it is a little gem in the heart of the Andes. The town is full of history and the places to visit (lakes, ruins, city center) are so peaceful and beautiful. You can find different types of Peruvian dishes all over town. I had breakfast in the town’s market and it was very affordable and delicious. Lastly, the people of Jauja will welcome you with open arms. One thing to take into account is that Jauja is located at 11089 ft. above sea level so take it easy when walking, running, etc. (altitude sickness may happen if not careful).

Caotic trafic and not very interesting city for turism. I visited Torre Torre, an interesting geological formation but the illegal occupation is taking this area of the city depreciating the location.

There are many attractions in the city of Huancayo, it has a...

There are many attractions in the city of Huancayo, it has a very nice colonial-style square, you can take walks, visit lagoons, climb the Nevado Huaytapallana. It is close to Jauja where there are trout farms and delicious food. My favorite dish is Patasca, it is a very tasty soup. And to alleviate the cold it is good to drink the famous "Calientito", I tried one with orange juice and it was very tasty.
