Best hotel by far we stayed in during our Palawan holiday. My husband accidentally booked a room in March instead of February for the end of our honeymoon stay, but the staff were amazing and helped us cancel and found us an available suit room at a discounted price. The room was so clean, modern, had bathrobes, a big bath and hotel was quite. Roof top pool area is so relaxed, with great cocktails, sun lounges and pool overlooks the city. The buffet breakfast each morning had a good variety (but a lot of pork dishes, which we don’t eat). Restaurant food was delicious, even if slightly overpriced was worth the money based on quality and freshness. Live singers on weekends outside the restaurant bar were amazing and fairy light lounge gave a nice vibe at night. All staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling and greeting you with a hello, nothing was too much trouble for them if requesting things. Absolutely great hotel. Definitely recommend. Also Robinson Mall next door and Airport just a few kms away.

We especially loved the flexibility of the staff in arranging day trips and scheduling around multiple constraints. Everyone was extremely helpful and patient with us. We also loved the floor water fountain. It was easy to refill our water bottles whenever needed, get hot water for tea and this also reduces the plastic waste you get with the bottled water in rooms. Great idea all around and the first time we've seen it in a hotel. We also loved the breakfast, even though we tended to leave a little too early to fully enjoy it every day of our stay.

tucked away from the main street 24 hour store near the corner very clean facilities staff were absolutely friendly and helpful able to book my van yo el nido - picked me up at the hotel breakfast was decent pool was excellent and cleaned daily 24 hour security as gates are closed at night

    Panja Resort surpassed all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the resort's picturesque setting and serene ambiance. The staff was incredibly warm and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully designed, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. The on-site restaurant served mouthwatering dishes especially the calamares and shrimp. It's a must try. And the range of activities (like you can swim, you can go to the gym, spa for additional relaxation, and roofdeck for the view) available ensured there was never a dull moment. Panja Resort is a true haven for relaxation and rejuvenation. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking an unforgettable escape.

    The breakfast was really well prepared..much better than other breakfast included. The staff was awsome and in our first hour we found a tricycle driver that was more than helpful in showing us everything that Puerto Princesa had to offer.That then became our main mode of transportation,,the experience of seeing through a local was fantastic,and he also bragged about the hotel to us..Our only regret was not scheduling more time to visit the area,,,meaning we will be returning..Look for tricycle driver Ryan Rosales...highly recomended......

    I was having trouble with my arthritic knees and was given an accessible friendly room which was perfect. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning excellent and best of all I had some English channels on the tv. After traveling for months in SE Asia, that was truly a bonus! There was a nearby mall with food options & a grocery store. Staff was very friendly and professional. Wish I had stayed longer.

    We didnt spend a lot of time in the Puerto itself sadly, given our resort was 90 minutes away but we made a couple of day trips and Puerto seems more relaxed & laid back than most cities in the Philippines with plenty of activities.

    Every day I walked from the hotel to Sabang wharf on the beach and on one day had coffee, adobo and itlog in a small cafe there. Everyone was very friendly, and I bought some Pasalubong, when they did not have my tee shirt size, they went to another shop to get it for me and to get change when I gave them 1000 peso note. I asked directions to the falls, but no one was exactly sure where it was or how long it would take to get there. The place was secure (police station at the wharf and coastguard and army regularly on patrol in the area. I eventually found the park that a friend recommended (5 km from the hotel) and had an excellent buffet lunch there twice and again they made Chester very welcome, the park was free and had some interesting, recycled artworks and a tribute to the devastation in the area by Typhoon Odette- well worth a visit. Also visit Buenavista viewpoint- the local community run it and you can get Buko juice, coffee, snacks and Pasalubong plus take great photos of the bay

    Worst public ride rates, not regulated, mostly a rip-off. The streets are unsafe with so many potholes, no street cleaners to keep the dust away. I appreciate the vehicles stopping when a person crosses the street.

    The only point of living in this town is to take a tour of the underground river. The city itself is not made for people, and especially not for tourists. The only tourist street is Rizal Street, there are a few nice restaurants there, and that's it - there is nothing else to do in the city, nowhere to walk.
