It was amazing! The details are on the little things. The beds were extremely comfortable, like a clowd after a day of adventure and you need to recharge. The staff were lovely, always with a smile and always so kind and knowledgeable. It was an amazing welcome to beautiful San Andres. A few amazing amenities: - towel service for the beach - foot washing station for when you return from the beach and are all sandy - they can get help you get a bike/moped rental right at the hotel. Super convenient. Thank you so much for making me and my wife feel welcome.

Great rooms with AC and comfortable beds. They offer free water and good breakfast. Wifi worked great. Good laundry service! Quiet at night and walking distance to center. The showers are cold in the left wing where the double rooms are but the other side has hot showers. Double check before booking to be sure what you get.

We were met at the doorway by a friendly gentleman who showed us to reception. The reception staff themselves were very friendly, polite and profession and gave us great information. Breakfast was a buffet affair and while there were a lot of people, there was plenty to go around and the food was of a high standard. The food changed daily which was appreciated and the fresh fruit was delicious. The room was super clean and of a big size - shout-out to housekeeping- and the bed was very comfortable. The communal areas bar, restaurants were tastefully decorated. The hotel is very well located. It was very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, but very close walking distance to the pier where you can take tours from. You can also walk to the public beaches and the main strip with restaurants and bars and shops in just a few minutes. Very much recommend this hotel to others, great value and great service

It was an unforgettable experience! It was out of this world. We truly felt like it was an experience for our senses. One thing I can say is that the photos don’t do it justice. I tried to capture it but it’s not possible! You are immersed in another world and there’s so much to explore. You will feel truly relaxed. So many little nooks & crannies. Big kudos to the artists that created this space and the architect of course. And finally a big thank you to the staff who make the stay so enjoyable. Our biggest thanks is to Luis Poot who works as a waiter in the breakfast area Alixa - he’s a fantastic person and we enjoyed meeting him very much!! Thank you Azulik - what a place you’ve created!

Where do I start? Nothing short of mind blowing! The 5 star service with staff that are there to help you at every turn! ! The fabulous restaurants and bars that cater for every taste and desire! The well laid out rooms which have obviously been meticulously planned to make your visit so comfortable and seamless! The spotless grounds and gardens! The well-orchestrated transport provided to and from each of the theme parks! I will be shouting the praises of this property to anyone and everyone who’ll listen and we will definitely return.

Kystal Cancun is one of my favorite places to stay, because it has one of the prettiest beaches, and it is also right downtown, so you have easy walking access to many restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Another reason I like coming here, because all-inclusive is optional. I travel alone, don't drink alcohol so it's more cost effective for me to eat in local restaurants.

Take official taxi or Uber. The others are robbers, ecpecially at the airport. Car rental services are beyond horrible in the high season. Read the ratings. Its insane, that services this bad can continue to do business. They ignored my reservation and tried to upsell me another car with 10x the price. We used taxi's (official taxi and Uber) instead. Maya's, Valladolid, Xcaret are all nice and worth a visit.

The city itself is rather dirty and lacks the colonial charm of Cartagena or other old cities in South America (though it claims to be the oldest Spanish foundation in SA). It's redeeming grace is the proximity to Parque Tayrona and the Quinta San Pedro Alejandrino and of course the fact that it is a jump off point for the ciudad perdida treck

There are stunning beaches and nature is the best part of the island. But in general everything is overpriced , service is super average and it’s not easy to move around. Its one private resort after another Public beaches are usually occupied by restaurants , bars and resorts so there is basically very small space to even put your towel down. The food is only great at a very few upscale restaurants. And they think tourists are their ATM machine

Playa is nice, it's quite developed now and busy but it's pleasant and the strip (5th Ave) is lively especially at night - lots of good restaurants etc. However, do your research as there's some fab restaurants just off the main street. Nice vibe, we felt safe enough. We did a week here and then Tulum for a week and felt a week was about right for us.

Tulum could be an easy place to avoid. The sea beaches are mostly inaccessible and are not at all worth visiting. There are few Cenotes around that are really good. Rather spend time in Cancun (for sea beach) and multiple Mayan Archeological sites in Yucatán.

Only go if you like chaos, dirt, and loud music every 10 meters. This is not a destination if you want to rest and see nice beaches. The people are completely disrespectful and drive like maniacs. Apparently is completely acceptable in Colombia to bring your own Bluetooth speaker to the beach and turn it on at max volume. The problem is that everyone has the same great idea so you end up with five speakers less than 20 meters away from you. This is not a good beach destination at all.

Specifically the Colonial Zone of SD is the oldest example of the Spanish Conquest of America with the largest number of buildings from the early 1500s. There is a thriving night life, restaurants, boutique hotels and lots of locals in the mix. Everything from super upscale restaurants to KFC, all mixed in together in less than 60 blocks within the original walled city.

Willemstad was interesting but I wouldn't go again over the holidays. It was just too crowded. Trying to find a place to park when we went to La Reina, a cafe we loved, was very stressful. The most interesting thing is the slavetrade museum. Anyone who visits should visit that museum. It's truly astonishing. It's actually worth going to Willemstad just to see that museum.
