The location was excellent. Very near to the beach. The food was excellent. It was a good new year break for us. The indoor pool was awesome. They even offered a free water aerobics class which was fun. Our stay was very comfortable, the facilities were excellent.

Beautiful hotel, everything has been thought out to the detail, amazingly located in Falésia, with pine trees all over and beach 2 min walk with direct access. Very attentive staff and food is simply delicious, breakfast and also dinner. The spa has this zen feeling and staff is super friendly. It was my 5th stay at this hotel and will surely come back again.

Throughout our stay, the staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. We didn’t just feel like guests – we felt truly valued. The rooms have been completely renovated, featuring a modern design and extremely comfortable beds that made our rest truly enjoyable. Every detail was carefully considered. Breakfast was also a highlight – not only generous, but also freshly prepared to order. It was the perfect way to start each morning: delicious, relaxed, and tailored to our preferences. Friendly and helpful staff Clean, comfortable rooms with a balcony. Twin sinks! Great selection of food. There's something for everyone. Huge range of fresh fruit and salads. Easy check in and out. Great little shop in the hotel, a little expensive but convenient. Variety of cocktails, one type of beer & cider both nice. Beer, Red, white & Róse wine on tap in the restaurants, self service. Cider only available at the pool bar. 40 minutes from Faro airport. Private taxi was €44 on Booking.com each way for 3 passengers. 20 minutes to the old town. Uber was between €10-€12. Couldn't fault anything. Will definitely return!

We absolutely loved everything, 10/10! The kids were thrilled with every moment, and the adults were equally satisfied. The restaurants are excellent, the spa is fantastic, and the bars are cozy. Lagos was really lovely.

Lagos was really lovely. This was my second time in Portugal and my first time to Lagos. The beaches near town are exceptional. Many accommodations are within walking distance to the beaches and town. Town is fun and lively with many great restaurants to visit. The waterfront is clean and lovely to stroll along. Lovely little city with great beaches and a 3 night stay was perfect.

Excellent, from Hotel could see view of Sea , staff were Excellent, Beach is the best, boardwalks, plenty of restaurants n bar's at front, Bar's n restaurants up on the main strip , all places eaten were excellent , staff excellent, overall the people are so polite helpful , clean place , good policeing, Happy place 😀 will be back , must say driver's are polite always giving way when crossing roads 😀

I liked discovering cliff top paths and the views along the way Algar seco was very close by and we stumbled across it one evening on our way to eat in town…then were lucky enough to get a table (after a bit of a wait) at the Boneca restaurant which really does have one of the best views in the Algarve. Another good restaurant I’d recommend is The Lighthouse… fab food and the views to go with it!!

The best part of Alvor is the restaurants, all reasonably priced and superb sea food. It's a small white washed fishing village. We went for a menu of the day at Alvor wine for 14 euros. We had a pate starter and some fresh seabas fillets plus a dessert!

A lovely area. We did not get to visit many places like we did last time as our daughter was in a wheelchair. My review of the area is based on last year when we stayed and stayed at a lovely Hotel in the area.

Love the hotel a little dated but that's what make it such a nice place to stay. The little town of Sagres has some of the best restaurants around and shopping at the supermarket is easy as its close by. The restaurant the laundry lounge is great, eat, drink and do your washing all at the same time. The Hsng put cafe is also a great place to eat. But one of the best is the seafood restaurant at the harbour, go and eat seafood caught that morning. Oh but be careful of the path down to the harbour it's steep and can be slippery and remember once down you have get back up. Also Salema and Burgau have wonderful beaches. It's nice going to lagos a great town with lots of wonderful buildings and interesting shops. Plus always street music playing. Stroll around the harbour and dream of what you would be having, I know I do.

Luz is a pretty litte seaside town with low rise traditional buildings and a beautiful golden sandy beach. Plenty of space. Can hire sun beds if wished. You can also get the bus to Burgau beach or Lagos beach (both are 15 minutes by bus). Luz beach currently has an invasive seaweed problem, possibly due to climate change, but there were diggers there one day that cleared away the seaweed. Its only in the very shallow water and isn't harmful. Burgau beach had no seaweed when we visited. We didn't go to Lagos Theres loads of restaurants in Luz, all very reasonably priced. Eat away from the se front to get more authentic Portuguese food. We ate twice at Paulos and twice at Arte. Also Nah Nah Bah has amazing fish tacos. We hired bikes from Bica bikes several days and there are also walking trails up on to the cliff tops with spectacular views. Theres a well stocked Spar supermarket in the village centre near the church.

This property is in a quiet area called Vale do Telha NOT actually in Aljezur which is about 8 kms or 5 miles away. The actual town is very nice in the old parts with a busy main street then there is the completely separate new town about 1km from the old where the supermarket and other facilities are. The old town has the castle, narrow and steep cobbled streets and pathways which are great for exploring. The old town is pretty boring.

A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic.

A quiet and pretty small village that remains authentic. A great place for a short visit if you like to avoid the crowds or to look for accomodation if you plan to explore the gorgeous 'vicentina' coast, with car access to many great beaches. Most of these beaches are likely to be too 'wild' for most people, with difficult access, but they are perfect for the more adventurers and, again, for those who prefer to avoid the crowds. Plus, there are a few places in the village centre where you can enjoy a really tasteful light meal, of which I'd definitely reccommend the restaurants 'Ao Largo' and 'Casa Verde'.
