The place is very calm and peaceful.
Good breakfast was served.
It is not a hotel with full services and facilities, but just perfect if you are there to relax and to tour the area of Lagos, Albufeira, Faro.
We rented a car, and it was very convenient to tour and parking was perfect and easily accessible.

Our tasting menu experience, although expensive, was a really lovely two hours. The food in the other speciality restaurant was very good but the portions were tiny. The pool areas were really well kept. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for that bit of extra luxury we all crave.

I especially loved the Molton Brown shampoo and shower gel — the scent was amazing.
I only booked three nights before heading to Seville, but honestly, I wish I had stayed longer by the sea.

We recently stayed at Marriott Salgados Palace Algarve and were impressed by every moment of our visit. The hotel not only meets the highest expectations – it exceeds them.
Our first impression was exceptional: we were warmly welcomed with champagne and fresh fruit – a truly thoughtful and gracious gesture. Throughout our stay, the staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. We didn’t just feel like guests – we felt truly valued.
The rooms have been completely renovated, featuring a modern design and extremely comfortable beds that made our rest truly enjoyable. Every detail was carefully considered.
Breakfast was also a highlight – not only generous, but also freshly prepared to order. It was the perfect way to start each morning: delicious, relaxed, and tailored to our preferences.
Our stay left us with warm memories. If you’re looking for top-level service, comfort, and a real holiday atmosphere – this hotel is absolutely worth your attention. We hope to return again soon.

The reasons why we always come back to São Miguel are the Human and Landscape factors.
We love the bungalows in the freshness of the pinewood forest, the proximity of incredible cliff beaches the restaurant and the care in all things.
On the other side of the balance, is the Team, young, intelligent and attentive.
A special thank to Mr Raj, whom we had the privilege to know, and to attend to His Yoga Class, in camp.
A mention to Mr Edson with His Bicycle library, in camp.

Liked everything about the place: comfy beds, location, very cosy and sunny. There is a dishwasher (although no dishwasher tablets), a washing machine and a dryer (no detergent unfortunately). The kitchen had all necessary utensils to cook your own meal.
We stayed in December, it was pretty warm and very sunny. It's a 15 minute walk to an amazing sandy beach , although it was too cold to swim in the sea.
Also there is an indoor swimming pool, which we liked a lot.

The animation team were exceptionally friendly to both adults and children . I liked being able to drop off my son to the kids club and then going to work out classes where the staff were super helpful and professional . I then picked up my son who was so happy
Huge choice of food 247 also and the pool was fab too !

The 3 bedroom apartment was way bigger than initially anticipated. The staff at the reception were also very helpful and receptive of our requests. Considering we were a big group, I was skeptical whether two apartments would fit us all but they actually did comfortably. Would definitely visit again.

Amazing breakfast, amazing sea view, coffee and tea in the room. Just the perfect place to relax. Staff are very friendly.

Albufeira is a lovely town with beautiful beaches and clear blue water. The weather is warm, and there are many nice restaurants and cafés. The old town is pretty and fun to walk around. It is a great place to relax, swim, and enjoy the sea. I really enjoyed my visit and would like to come back again.

It is so easy to familiarise yourself with Lagos.
It is so easy to familiarise yourself with Lagos. The old town and marina are very walkable. It is suitable for both families with young children, young adults, and elderly couples to visit. You can stay like a resident or like a tourist and you will be appreciated as both by the locals! Lagos has been a favourite of ours for the last 12 years and it will continue to be!

We had a fantastic time in Portimão.
We had a fantastic time in Portimão. The town offers the perfect blend of beautiful beaches, great restaurants, and a relaxed atmosphere. Praia da Rocha is stunning, with golden sands and breathtaking coastal views. The local people were friendly and welcoming, and there was plenty to see and do, from the marina and waterfront to nearby boat trips and coastal walks. The weather was excellent throughout our stay, making it an ideal destination for a relaxing holiday. We would highly recommend Portimão and would happily return in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great area with lots to do.
Great area with lots to do. Family friendly and reasonably cheap to eat out. The beach is lovely and water in crystal clear so bring googles for fish spotting. There is also a beach just down the road - tiny cove that not many know about. Its at the bottom of the look out near Mar de Fora

The best part of Alvor is the restaurants, all reasonably priced and superb sea food. It's a small white washed fishing village.
We went for a menu of the day at Alvor wine for 14 euros. We had a pate starter and some fresh seabas fillets plus a dessert!

A lovely area.
A lovely area. We did not get to visit many places like we did last time as our daughter was in a wheelchair. My review of the area is based on last year when we stayed and stayed at a lovely Hotel in the area.

Aljezur is a beautiful and peaceful area, with an impressive coastline, wonderful beaches and a relaxed atmosphere. It is an excellent base for exploring the Costa Vicentina, although having a car is highly recommended, as many of the best beaches and places to visit are spread out across the region.

Love the hotel a little dated but that's what make it such a nice place to stay. The little town of Sagres has some of the best restaurants around and shopping at the supermarket is easy as its close by. The restaurant the laundry lounge is great, eat, drink and do your washing all at the same time. The Hsng put cafe is also a great place to eat. But one of the best is the seafood restaurant at the harbour, go and eat seafood caught that morning. Oh but be careful of the path down to the harbour it's steep and can be slippery and remember once down you have get back up. Also Salema and Burgau have wonderful beaches. It's nice going to lagos a great town with lots of wonderful buildings and interesting shops. Plus always street music playing. Stroll around the harbour and dream of what you would be having, I know I do.

Luz was beautiful. Much smaller than Lagos or Albuferia. We would stay in Luz again or somewhere similar. Lots of nice restaurants. Handy local shops - walking distance or short drive. Lovely beach - but a little seaweed. Lovely beach bars and promenade.

Odeceixe Village is gorgeous with its cute narrow streets and its lovely little houses, very well kept and typical from the Algarve.
Odeceixe beach forms part of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park and is considered one of the 7 wonders of Portugal.
Parking can be quite a challenge and you have to go down a long hill to access the beach, so in the peak of Summer, you´re better of going early in the morning. If you want to avoid this issue, there´s a small touristic little train that goes from the Guest House into the beach. The water is excellent and not as cold as we had expected.
Odeceixe Beach functions simultaneously as both a sea beach and a river beach, due to the mouth of the Ribeira de Seixe. When you go down the steps, it has a sort of central area where the stream is on the right-hand side and the sea is on the left. In the background, you can see the Ribeira flowing into the sea, and on the hillside, there is lush green vegetation with trees at the top. The mixture of the stream and the tides create shallow pools of warm water, ideal for children to play safely, as the sea is very rough. At low tide, there is a very extensive stretch of sand. At high tide, the sandy area is reduced to the sandy peninsula in the centre.
