We did not arrive until after 10pm thanks to SJ railway and the bar staff Jorgen and Rasmus were outstanding as they made a chess and meat platter for us. 

The L2 apartment is absolutely amazing and takes you back in time with a kind of “royal” feel in terms deco and space. If this was categorized as a hotel room, it would be a luxury suite.

Everything was wonderful. Bedding was good quality. Clean and cozy. Breakfast was truly amazing.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pizza shop just around the corner had the most amazing pizza!

Easy and good food in nice atmosphere

Really special place, old prison. Luckily kept in such condition that you can see&feel how it was as a prison. Don’t expect luxury, as you wouldn’t in a prison also.

Central location, helpful staff who went above and beyond to assist with any questions.

The hotel was wonderful and the staff was happy, friendly and helpful. Y room was in the old part of the building with a view if the water. The room was perfect. The breakfast spread was very good. Nothing was missing.

Great hotel, just a few minutes walk from train station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food for dinner and breakfast excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Cozy hotel with friendly staff, located in the center of Karlstad.

I like about everything like the room, it was very comfortable and clean, the restaurant was very nice, the staff were very friendly and the location was very good.

This is a 3*, so the rooms are a bit... boring? Not fancy? But they have everything you might need, designed cleverly for comfort and function. Got a room with beautiful view on the river. There is no gym but I was informed that there is a partnership with gym close by. And the pinnacle was the friendly staff, reception that has tea/coffee for you during the whole day and very good breakfast. Would love to come back in future!

This is my favourite hotel .. so soft and nice bed and breakfast was amazing they also had buffet.

We asked about a upper room to the river, no problem :) The gym is small but got anything to train. For Diner is a buffet available, which was both days really tasty.

The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel was really clean, both the rooms, reception and elevators. Nice surroundings outside, perfect for children.

Everything about the hotel was fabulous, I couldn’t find fault at all, so much so, I have booked again for next year, before left the hotel .

A lot of thing: the location, the image, the rooms, comfort, breakfast (so big variaty of tasty food). And the kind staff helped us a lot.
