The staff (Adam, Emmanuel, everyone) were fantastic. They went out of their way to be friendly, gave great recommendations to eat, good safety advice, were patient in helping me pick up basic phrases in swahili, and also gave info on transportation etc. The top floor terrace is fantastic for breakfast and dinner as well as a chance to relax with a soda or beer and meet other travelers. Breakfast is pretty basic with fruit, tea, coffee, toast, cereal. The location was an easy 8 minute walk to the bus station. I felt pretty safe during the day for a solo traveler though like most places, I'd be street smart and not wander around at night. I was able to hand wash and line dry my laundry, walk a few minutes to nearby markets, and head out for great local food in the area. The rooms are pretty basic with bed, ceiling fan, and small desk. There's a big padlock on each door that you keep the key to. The bathrooms on each floor were very clean though shower /toilet are in the same stall so it's pretty tight and definitely not luxurious. It was a great home base for before and after safari and the price is a great value. I met international who were volunteering in Arusha and who were staying there for 6-8 weeks. There's also volunteer opportunities posted on the ways. Other guests were really quiet and polite. I'd definitely want to come back.

The garden was beautiful. It was silent and calm allthough the location was in the midst of a village or part of Arusha. The staff was very nice and helpful. Did walk the extra mile.

Beautiful spot to stay before or after a safari. Very clean and all the staff are very friendly. Shoutout to Dickson (general manager) who went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. He arranged airport transfers for us and even joined the driver to pick us up to ensure everything went smoothly and showed us around Arusha on the way to the hotel.

Great breakfast, room was very lovely and sizeable (we got auto-upgraded to a higher room class upon arrival, which was a welcome surprise after climbing Kilimanjaro). The hotel grounds were very nice. Hotel is secure with a 24/7 security guard. Staff was extremely friendly
