The service was beyond compare: exceptional meals prepared in a timely way with a choice of options. The guards were helpful, polite and professional when escorting you around the campsite. The shower had hot water which is rare in rural areas. The campsite is close to the magnificent Kazinga Channel. One elephant visits regularly they call "John." This is a very organized operation they have here.

The location on a rise looking over a village and down towards the Kazinga Channel, Chambura Wildlife Preserve and QE National park is stunning, meals were great. Hassan was friendly and informative; we did one of the community activities he suggested - a short walk into the nearby start of the Kyambura Gorge - and will have to return to do others!

The owner is a lovely lady! So warm and welcoming. We felt really, really valued and appreciated. It felt like we were staying with family. All the food was delicious and tasted like home-cooked dishes. They anticipated our needs and beyond. For example, one evening they prepared a campfire for us without us even asking for one. It was incredible to sit around the fire, and hear the elephants trumpeting just outside of the property.

The staff was amazingly accommodating friendly, and watched over my every need. I actually made some new friends of some of the staff and learned a lot about the flora and fauna and culture of the area. The food was great and they were sensitive to my dietary needs. And the visiting elephants were epic! I'll definitely be back ASAP.

This is an amazing home stay. They run an orphanage and do incredible work for the community. They built the guest housing to help with the projects but they go way beyond to make your stay amazing. The staff is so incredibly nice and really do everything to make the stay a great experience. The room is great. The balcony is perfect after a long game drive day to chill and enjoy the fresh juice and good food. Highly recommend staying there.
