The room was beautiful with a great view of the city. The bed was comfortable and very clean. It smelled so fresh in the entire hotel and especially in the King room. The hotel was decorated for Christmas and it felt like a Hallmark movie in the entire town.

The breakfast was great. I loved the juice machine, I was excited that I could mix apple and cranberry juice. Lots of other selection for breakfast foods too. The little home fry potatoes were delicious. The room was quiet and the a/c worked perfectly.

The staff was so helpful and friendly. Location for proximity to Gettysburg and sight seeing is perfect. Our room was comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was so good! The pool was nice. Lobby was lovely and bar/restaurant was nice needs new chairs but the aesthetic of the huge marble fireplace was lovely and made a cozy vibe. Food and cocktails were delicious.

Standard room was clean and efficient. Two level building stairs only in our building - something to consider if you pack a lot. Breakfast was a standard meal which was good and include, so we took advantage of that. There were many options for dinner and we chose to walk across the street at O'Rorkes Family Eatery the food was great and everyone was very friendly. We only wish we had scheduled more time, so much to see and do as well as learning about our history using the app tour in our vehicle, perfect for the aging population with mobility issues.

This was our third stay here. Every stay has been great! We are empty- nesters now and enjoy a few days away to ourselves. The location is very good, right in the middle of town. Nice walking distance to many attractions. Great breakfast in the mornings to start the day. Beautiful rooms, and a nice quiet time from 10-7 also.

Gettysburg is beautiful. So much to see and do.

Gettysburg is beautiful. So much to see and do. We did the Auto Drive Tour and a walking tour. We had our car but were able to walk many places. Lunchtime we ate at the Honey Bee. We were in town for a wedding. Three nights was not enough.

The Dutch market was my favorite.

The Dutch market was my favorite. There is also outlets 15 min away. It's quiet and the food in surrounding area is great especially the shawarma amazing for late night food. Things do close very early.

This location was convenient, but the property was disappointing in terms of poor quality linens and furniture. The entry is dark with a noticeable smell. The property needs fresh paint and better quality linens to be a desirable site. The small bathroom has no flat surface for toiletries and 2 of the 3 over the sink light bulbs were burned out. The beds were comfortable enough, but 2 of the 3 bedrooms were crowded with beds.

The battlefield is a must visit for people that are interested in History. I recommend a tour from a licensed guide. I also recommend taking a tour around the town of Gettysburg to learn about how civilians had to cope with a battle in their town.

I travel all the time to Hagerstown especially to the Townwide yard sale on the 4th of July. There is a food called steamers that makes me travel just to eat them. No one in the Unites states makes them. Located on Locust street in Hagerstown Md.

Hotel room had no smoke detector-it had been taken off the ceiling because they didn't have a battery for it. HUH?? When I reported it, the maintenance guy was supposed to attend to it but didn't. I was not given a different room with a working detector. It is against Building codes and fire codes to not have a working smoke detector. Then the indoor pool was ice cold and had big bugs in it. He tried to shoo them to the side but had no net to pick them up. I picked this hotel BECAUSE it had a heated indoor pool. There was nothing for my grandkids to do while they were there. The Heat/AC was so noisy I had to turn it off completely and had to use the comforters from both beds to be warm. Upstairs there were people stomping around until the wee hours of the morning. And the bathroom had only one operable switch--the switch part of the other was completely missing. The curtains had ripped /worn patches and I faced the parking lot. A bit creepy. I stayed here about 20 months ago and had an issue with cleanliness and they assured me that, as the new owners, they were taking steps to improve the hotel. This visit the hotel was actually worse!

We spent one night.

We spent one night. The location is older and tired and rooms need updating. The bed was comfortable which was a positive. We did not accept the original room assigned to us and requested to be moved. We were told that our room could not be changed unless we paid +$100.00 because we booked thru a third party at a special rate. When we arrived at the original room our key would not open the door (they use an older style of keyless and it wasn't working). While we were standing in the hallway the room next to us was very loud - screeming kids. We immediately went back to check in and expressed our concerns. Breakfast was mediocre. Will not book Hagerstown again!
