Mid-August: lots of families, and not really party town (like Daytona), so that was a nice surprise. Calm waters most of the time. Not a lot of shells though. Lots of fish and some other wildlife. Pier was beautifully clean (likely due to the fact that one has to pay to visit - it's cheap). McGuire's Irish Pub has the best Senate Soup. Fish and chips were okay (it's made with a catfish-like fish, not haddock, and is not beer battered). But the shepherd's pie and soup was amazing! Go deep sea fishing with Jubilee Fishing! Great crew and we caught lots of fish! Fun experience for everyone!Guest review byAnna MarieUnited States - 10.0

For myself it was very nice it was just too hot, which the hotel had no control over the weather. It is what it is for Summer. I enjoyed my stay the staff was very nice and friendly. My room was very neat and clean.Guest review byMariaUnited States - 10.0
This was our first trip to Destin.
This was our first trip to Destin. The beaches are beautiful and not over crowded. There were many great places to eat, we enjoyed Parlor Donuts, Beignet and Brews, Lulus, and the Backporch. Also great shopping. We did a lot school clothes shopping while we were there. Both Destin Commons and Destin Outlets had great stores. We also went to the Gulfarium and our girls did the Penguin Encounter which was a lot of fun for them. Oveall, we had a great trip and are already planning our next to Destin.Guest review byHallieUnited States - 10.0
We love visiting Naples.
We love visiting Naples. There are lots of greenspaces, nice beaches and nature walking. We visited Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park and it was very nice but still suffering from the effects of hurricanes over the last few years. We also enjoyed visiting Freedom Park and walked through the park on both boardwalks. Don't forget to visit the very lovely Memorial of 911 which also includes 2 actual pieces of steel columns from the WTC tragedy! Tin City in downtown is a must visit and has some unique stores and lovely waterfront restaurants.Guest review byAzeemUnited States - 8.0
Pensacola is great for beaches and good eating.
Pensacola is great for beaches and good eating. They have a small town feel, but have everything you need in terms of shopping, food, and some cultural experiences. It's good for a short relaxing trip.Guest review byPK&RuthyUnited States - 10.0
Sarasota is a very modern, clean, contemporary city.
Sarasota is a very modern, clean, contemporary city. It has a wonderful waterfront and many parks. The waterfront is very walkable with much to see as far as unique architecture, beautiful water views on the bays and many fantastic high rise high rise buildings to admire. It has some of the best beaches in FL. The city is very easy to get around, ride shares are easy to get. There are many great restaurants with many choices. The city has many cultural and educational benefits: many colleges, a symphony, a ballet troupe, and 4 theaters with unique current plays. The Ringling Museum is a must to see, there are a number of first class performance halls, a zoo, an aquarium, a modern art museum, botanic garden, zoo, great shopping, etc., etc. You will really like Sarasota, it has something for everyone: adults, children, people that love beaches, boats, the sun, culture, good food, etc. We stayed one week and we really needed 2 to do all of the great attractions.Guest review bySusanUnited States - 10.0
There is a lot to do at Clearwater Beach.
There is a lot to do at Clearwater Beach. We went on a dolphin tour and we also went parasailing, which was a lot of fun! There are all kinds of great places to eat, and a lot of shops to visit. And of course, there's the beach! We really enjoyed the beach a lot. The sands were very white and soft. We would definitely visit again.Guest review byDeniseUnited States - 10.0
St. Pete Beaches are the best.
St. Pete Beaches are the best. The sand, the water were pristine. Plenty of places to eat from pizza and burgers to fine dining. You can get anywhere on Gulf Blvd. in your car or on the sidewalks. Downtown SP which has alot to offer is about 15 minutes away and well worth the visit.Guest review byFrankUnited States - 10.0
The beaches are beautiful!
The beaches are beautiful! Stewby’s Seafood Shanty was our favorite place to eat. The best potato salad I’ve ever had and the grilled grouper was great too! You have to make the 12 minute drive to Destin and try the donuts at the Donut Hole. They also serve a sit down breakfast! If you want something fancier try Boshamps and ask for outdoor seating. Nice setting on a marina! A little pricey but well worth it! They do have a water park for the kids and an airplane museum for the husbands! They have some nice shops in Fort Walton or take the kids to Alvin’s for a souvenir from your trip!Guest review byVickie - 8.0
The hotel room & service was good.
The hotel room & service was good. The one thing I was upset about is that my my car was hit while parked in the hotel parking lot & I didn't feel management really cared. Manager didn't do anything about it like helping me to see the camera footage of the parking lot so I could try & identify the vehicle that hit me so I could report it to the police.Guest review byHILDAUnited States
