- From $214.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 8 reviewsHere’s an updated review: Fantastic Stay with Incredible Service and Amenities! I recently stayed at the Trailside Inn, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. The inn combines rustic charm with modern comfort, making it the perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind or explore the area. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and well-equipped. The game room was a fantastic bonus—perfect for relaxing evenings with friends or family. Whether it was playing games or just enjoying the laid-back vibe, it added so much fun to our stay. The lounge area was equally wonderful, with a large TV and a beautiful fireplace that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day of outdoor activities. What made the stay even more memorable was the incredible staff. They were genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The Trailside Inn is truly a gem, offering everything you could want in a mountain retreat. I can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone!Guest review byDiBiasioUnited States

I am primarily a Colorado skier.
I am primarily a Colorado skier. I enjoyed Killington and it is within 6 hours so I will be back. Lift tickets are only sold on-line. The pickup process is simple and fast but the ticket areas are not visible from the road. Take it on faith that there are ticket dispensers servicing every large parking lot. The abundance of ticketing locations eliminates long lines early in the morning. The resort is typical of eastern skiing. The mountains are lower (4k vs 12k) so the runs are shorter which impacts the ski vs lift time. The areas are narrower and tend more toward cat tracks than open vistas. Tunnels provide a method for one trail to cross under another and skiers don't need to worry about cross traffic. Ice can form at the tunnel exit so be mindful. Snow conditions were good the first day and, due to overnight snow that returned in late morning, we had fresh powder to deep powder on the second day. There was occasional ice but in general conditions were good to very good. In the secluded open areas among the trees the snow was knee to waist deep and very loose. I skied on Monday and Tuesday and there were few people on the mountain. The trails were uncrowded and most lifts were ski up and get on. Even popular lifts like the gondola covered chair (chute lift) had two to four groups in line at any given time. I expect the weekends and holidays are more difficult. I was there for 2 days and would have stayed longer but temps went from the 20-30 range to the -2 to +10 range. Wind in both cases. Due to a medical issue I get cold easily and therefore don't ski in really cold conditions.Guest review byGlennUnited States - 2.0

Filthy bathroom, black mold in shower head, stinky mold smell in bathroom, brown stains on hair dryer, room smelled of smoke. breakfast food was inedible- sausage and eggs - I only eat protein for breakfast, eggs were sitting there for probably 5 days rubbery and greenish. Don't go there, unless you have no other option! Pool was nice!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

A quick review of Killington... well I am a skier, so this applies to winter sports. Killington is called the beast for a reason, it a huge mnt. Also, the snow making is world class. When other Mountains are struggling, Killington almost always has better snow coverage, many lifts diversified terrain, modern base lodges. Well maintained lifts. 2 gondolas, heading to Vermont? Can't go wrong with this place! After ski dining? So many resturants as you leave the slopes, The wobble barn for a steak to choices for eclectic upscale fare. The garlic for Italian. To many places to list all here, pro tip... late season this place still rocks!Guest review byMr. KastenUnited States - 10.0

We went for a long weekend to visit family and stayed at the Hamption Inn, which was comfortable and very convenient for our family visits. The Inn was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was a plus and there was something for everyone!! Will stay here again when we go back in the fall.Guest review byNatalieUnited States - 10.0
Killington ski resort is a first class mountain!
Killington ski resort is a first class mountain! They are the most proficient machine snow makers! Often, Killington has snow when others don't. Multiple base lodges, I count 5, like 5 peaks, a gazillion lifts, and more trails than I can count. But they do have a separate beginner hill among the colossal mountain. And that is very cool, its called snowshed, even packs its own base lodge. The mountain is also a. Lend of easy crazing runs to omg double black diamonds. And with a plethora of resturants on the way in, your day doesn't end when the lifts stop.Guest review byMr. KastenUnited States - 4.0

Rutland is a great location for skiers but there has been no new hotel built in ages and current hotels seem to be steadily declining while prices have risen considerably to make it a much worse value than 20, 10 , or even 5 years ago.Guest review byCameronUnited States
