This hotel is a hidden gem in Huntsville. I’ve always liked this place but hadn’t stayed here in a while until recently. During my recent stay, the staff provided exceptional, on-point customer service. He was fantastic! The rooms are exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and it seems they’ve made some upgrades recently. Very happy with all aspects of my stay and will exclusively book at this hotel when in Huntsville from now on. 10/10

    Huntsville has a great state park, plenty of places to eat,...

    Huntsville has a great state park, plenty of places to eat, one of the oldest colleges in Texas, Texas Veteran Museum, Prison Museum and plenty of different types of prison see from the outside. We have never experience any crime of even seen any. Very nice small town with great history.

    The front desk person Rafael was great. we had to switch rooms because the volume on the TV didn’t work and in the next room it look like someone has slept in one of the beds and the room did not smell too good. I do like this place so I will be back and give it another chance. I love the location.

    Riverside was close to my work in Huntsville so it was easy...

    Riverside was close to my work in Huntsville so it was easy to navigate and I didn’t have to travel long hours to get to work. The location I stayed was really quiet and very remote. It’s a necessity to have your car for easy access around as there are no viable Lyft or uber drivers at that location Subway was not far away so I was able to get something to eat. Overall the location is a safe place.

    It is a nice crowded place, neat and clean, quiet, only problem we have here is we never get the downstairs rooms, and always book a month ahead of arrival, kind of hurts us disabled travelers that are up in age.

    Livingston is a very interesting town.

    Livingston is a very interesting town. Small town with big town services. Restaurants of many varieties, Check out the Wet Deck Bar & Grill, by the lake with outdoor-indoor patio and beautiful lake view & sunset place. Get out your map and take the drive that circles around the lake. Goes through many small towns one with an old school building & Jail. Passes near the dam & spillway. Good motorcycle ride also. Have a good day!

    There were roaches in the shower.

    There were roaches in the shower. We had to ask for towels and soap and it took over an hour to get. If you close the bathroom door you would see dirt at both corners behind it. You cannot access the front desk with the phone in your room you have to call their number off the website. The beds were so soft that after my back procedure I hurt.

    Livingston texas, has many things to do while visiting.

    Livingston texas, has many things to do while visiting. Great dining, inexpensive accommodations, parks to relax and enjoy time with the family, or alone. Plenty of places to fish without a boat, and the people are courteous. The worst thing is, is that vacation time here, can be addictive in a good way. Too quick to get here, too soon to leave. When the day has ended, you sleep with a smile, waiting for the next.
