Our room was super clean and felt newly renovated. We loved the comfy bathrobes, the big bathtub, and the fireplace—it all made the stay extra cozy. Plus, we had a beautiful view of Haystack Rock right from our room! One of the best parts was how close the beach is—less than a 2-minute walk, which is amazing, especially with kids. We also booked the beach bonfire for $50, and it was such a fun experience. The staff set everything up and gave us everything for s’mores—sticks, marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate. It was the perfect beach night! There’s also a warm indoor pool and a hot tub on site, which our kids loved and we really enjoyed too. Honestly, this hotel feels like the most budget-friendly option in the area, but it delivers 100% and even more. Great value for the price. The beach was nice and sandy, easy to access. The motel was very nice with superb staff. The town overall lacks things to do. Not many options for food or activities. We loved the Maritime Museum and the fact that you could leave, go do something else, and then come back before they closed. We loved the walkability by the water and really enjoyed the scenery. We met a nice couple, who were volunteers, at the Finnish display by the Maritime Museum. They were very friendly and informative. Florence was a lovely surprise. We had never stayed there before. The downtown area was a great shopping experience. There are many awesome stores. There are several grocery stores too. next time I would like to try the group dune buggy experience. This was my first time this way so it was a good exploration. Cannon Beach is absolutely beautiful.
Cannon Beach is absolutely beautiful. More than once I caught myself saying, how is this place real? Walks on the beach around Haystack rock are mesmerizing. Don't miss going at low tide to see the starfish and sea urchins hanging out in the tide pools. Sunsets are stunning and lots of people build small campfires on the beach to watch the sun set and relax into the evening. There are lots of cute shops, coffee shops and cafes around town. It's a great little Oregon Coastal town. We ate fish and chips at the Luna in Yachats in a covered area where our dog was welcome as well.
